Yup these people are lying scam artists. I took in a pair of speakers years ago knowing they were worth at least $500. They pointed out some minor scratches and offered me $50.00
At the time I needed the money and just accepted it. Couple of minutes after signing the papers they slapped on a $700 price tag on the speakers.
I told the guy he just finished telling me they weren’t worth much because of the scratches. He responded saying well “you should know the value of what you’re selling theirs no law that requires us to tell you it’s actual value”

I bought a laptop there and bought the warranty with it. I used it for about week and a half and the screen started having problems so I returned it when I went to return it the manager or whoever was there would not give me the amount that was on the receipt, he made a number up and tried to give me that amount back argue with me for 10 minutes, and I just tried to help him understand that when someone's returning something and it was not the warranty money it was the price of the thing that I boughtand refused to give me the extra $2.25 that was owed to me as small as that was

Pulled up here with a 75’ tv (that has been pawned here serveral times) the old fat Mexican man walks out to “help” get the tv. He says how much u looking for I told him just what I’ve always got for it which was 300. He instantly got and attitude yelling “nope nope we don’t give out that much for tvs” I said sir this tv has been here before after going back and forth he yells just give me your id I’ll check cause I know we didn’t give you that. He look it up and sees that I was right it was actually $350 not 300 he then says well I’m still not but I can ask the manager. Goes to the Mexican lady she says no after they talk an hr in Spanish. I leave call back the younger Mexican boy answers the phone I asked for the store manager number he tells me he won’t be back until Monday (after the old man said he will be in on Saturday already??♀️ so basically they have some Mexican on black hate in the store and it’s making the loyal customers suffer Definitely calling corporate after I come back tomorrow to tell the real manager

Steer clear!!!!This location is rude! Victor kept saying he can’t let me know about my item without a ticket number or phone or even my driver license. So when I asked for him to check again he clicked me. I called again he then repeated childishly TICKET TICKET TICKET and clicked me. 3 times he did this. So then I call one more time after asking manager. This lady answered her name was Maria and she stood by him on his ticket claims and stated she needs the ticket number or she can be nice and lookup ID on the pawn loan. I give it she says it’s not in any pawn or in system and out of state licenses aren’t accepted. So when I said I am far rn I want to know how much I need to pay it off today and if they accept cash or card. She says again the outofstate driver license isn’t accepted at first cash pawns they only accept in state licenses for pawns. So that item isn’t in that name or license? Even though that’s what is in the system. She then states this is fact and she cannot help me and I can’t know about my item since it’s not there in MY Name and ID. So I call the other surrounding offices and give them my drivers license and they say it’s in the system and that the company does in fact take out of state licenses as long as their valid not expired. They verify our item just saying if there’s any issues with getting your items back to call back to help the situation with the store on pioneer. I go to the store with my ticket and they try to say the girl Evelyn printed me my ticket which isn’t true because mine was the original from September 7th. We then have the manager Maria, Victor, and Evelyn laughing at us with other customers saying “idk why they’re making a big deal it’s just a necklace” in English and in Spanish. We say it’s because it’s our property and we want to get it out Today. And you don’t want to give it to us since it’s almost due. Everything is recorded the phone calls and the in store visit. And the mockery they put us through for just trying to get our items. This could’ve been avoided if they just had the skills to communicate effectively with their customers instead of start yelling and clicking us then stating lies on the company policy. We even asked for the manager of the location to tell them what was told to us on our recorded calls and video in store. They stated Maria is the manager of this location. After I told them I know she isn’t (I was a long time customer of this spot since 2020) and I come in to check out the new gold all the time(I like gold it’s value changes). So I know the faces and names of the employees along with the titles. To be humiliated and then told I’m lying and saying I had a miscommunication when I wasn’t given a chance to communicate when I asked multiple times on the phone especially when I was being patient and asked multiple times if I can have someone else or a manager help me since they kept clicking and then sticking to the item isn’t in this location since DL isn’t In system even though it shows up in the partner store’s system. Its just disgusting. It’s like they wanted to keep my item regardless if I had all the paperwork cash and license and I’m trying to do so before it’s due time. Then to be told they can’t give me a receipt even though they’ve given me receipts prior with loan payoffs? It’s astonishing how the rules can be bent when the actual MANAGER isn’t working that day. I’m sticking to my other location in Irving. But please do not do business here I know there’s only one good employee here at pioneer but it’s just not safe to do business here when his superiors are not following protocol and choose to not get you your info on your property that’s not even past due. I stuck with them because I haven’t had big issues with them though I’ve heard others have trouble making a payment I just didn’t think they would pull that on me with the paperwork I have. I can’t even imagine how many people they’ve done this too to either charge them up for reprinting ticket papers or make them lose their pawn items! Go somewhere more reputable!

Called them and the guy didn't want to help. Finally he said to call back and ask for the manager, Jeremy. First, why are you employed there if you don't even help customers? Second, why are you telling me to call back when I'm already on the phone? Just give the phone to the manager! Which is what I said to do. So what does he do? He says hold on, then just left me hanging. After 10 minutes, I had to hang up. Of course, no one picked up. This guy had a strong Mexican accent.
