This locations help was absolutely sensational. Avie worked w me and ensured she was there to help me when my reservation caused complications. She was absolutely amazing and made a stressful situation simply wonderful. I would absolutely recommend this location due to their staff. They are there to help you.

The people know what's going on and wanting to help. The location isn't bad. But pay attention to the store hours bc when they say they are closed. They mean it. Everybody has the right to protect their stuff so I appreciate how they handle their business.

Everyone at this location was nice and professional. Renting a car here through my insurance was easy, quick, and seamless. They even picked me up at the body shop where my car was being fixed, approximately 8 mi away. I rented a Polestar 2, an electric car. The car was clean and free of damage. They walked me through how to drive it, since I've never driven electric car before. Very fun vehicle, very zippy! Picking up the car took 5 minutes, returning the car took 5 minutes. Zero complaints!The only negative I have to say is my insurance's website tried really hard to screw up my reservation. It picked a distant location and a car that was unavailable (I will leave a separate review for State Farm that's not so glowing). This has nothing to do with Hertz. and both the original location, which was too far away, and this location worked together to make sure I had a satisfactory experience. After you go through your insurance, be sure to pick up the phone and call the car rental location and confirm everything! This will be true for any car rental service.

Below is what I emailed to Hertz Corporate and further on is what they emailed back to me. The staff at Hertz is rude and they treat their customers like garbage. When brought to the attention of the corporate office, the response back from corporate customer relations had absolutely nothing to do with my complaint and looked like a standard form apology. This is completely unacceptable and this business doesn't deserve my money. I suggest everyone not renting from hertz. The customer service is atrocious and not worth anything. From now on, I'm renting from AvisWhat I emailed to Hertz corporate customer relations:I picked up a rental at 233 N Central Expressway in Richardson, TX on August 23, 2023. I was told that my car would be hooked up to my Uber app so I could start working. This is my first experience with Uber and no one has taught me anything. I called Uber help desk and they said that Hertz owed them some information on the vehicle I received and that I wouldn't be able to work until that happened. I went to the location this morning and got told to sign out of the app and back in. That is information I should have received yesterday. I told the agent that the lack of communication on their part costed me a day's wages and half a tank of gas that I have to pay for. I was told that I would get no concessions whatsoever. This is completely unacceptable. I'm not an employee for Hertz, I am a paying customer. I paid $354 to rent a car and I deserve to be treated like any other customer that pays that much. The level of customer service I received at this location felt like I paid $0 and that I was a burden on the company. If that's how Hertz feels, that's fine. I certainly don't want to be a burden on Hertz and I can always rent from AvisWhat Hertz corporate customer relations emailed back to me:Dear Douglas,Thank you for the opportunity to look into this matter. We apologize for the delay in our response.The condition of the vehicle you received is a concern to us, and we apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. Rest assured that this matter will be reviewed by our maintenance personnel.Since you are still on rental, you can go to the nearest Hertz corporate counter in your area or call our Hertz Emergency Roadside Service at 1-800-654-5060 to arrange for vehicle repair or exchange. This is for the Arlington location at Vandergriff Toyota. Receptionists were venting their feelings about someone in the front of the building using explicit language. It was very uncomfortable but I thought they were disgruntled customers, so it was even more embarrassing when I saw that they were employees. The receptionists were working very slowly with little urgency to help customers. Standing on their phones while I waited at the desk to be helped. They also continuously stopped assisting customers to complain to each other and threaten to "walk out if SHE comes back". Overall very uncomfortable and poor service.

If you temporarily close maybe you should let the services like Google Maps and Expedia know, so customers don't book and drive to your location only to find out nothing is there.

DISCLAIMER: THIS REVIEW IS REALLY FOR THE ARLINGTON TOYOTA LOCATION BUT IT'S NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE SO THIS WILL DO. The one star isn't for the service, the car, or the online reservation, but for their terrible eCommerce department. I had a car I rented to get my car repaired. Then a ice storm hit Dallas and caused me to rent another week. Well they wouldn't let me use the discount and they stuck it to me. The second week was twice as much as the first. Then when it came time to return the car, they never released the holds on my accounts. They had the nerve to blame my bank account as if my bank is the one who put the charges there. SMH. To make it worse they did multiple charges on my account. I almost overdraft like four times. It's been weeks since I returned the car and it's still on there. And after calling and asking for a manager, they blocked my number. I should have just went to enterprise. First time ever going to Hertz, and after this terrible experience, I'll never use them again.

Horrible experience!! I have come in numerous times to get a work car under a business account and they are unavailable. This last time I waited 3 hrs after being told there were no vehicles available. I inquired about the cars in the lot, they stated they were upgrades and that I was unable to use them. After waiting 3 hrs they gave a vehicle in the same class that I reserved to a customer who was two hrs late to their reservation,even tho I had been sitting there. Now I drive to pick up at another location by and there is notices on all the windows that they are closed. Don’t waste your time go somewhere else
