I was hoping to give this place 5 stars. We recently adopted a dog that has a lot of baggage. He was severely abused. Rarely let out of his kennel. Wasn't ever exposed to new humans. Wasn't consistently fed. Also probably hasn't ever been to the vet. It takes him a while to warm up to new people and adjust to new environments, and he certainly doesn't enjoy being touched by people he doesn't know and trust. When we brought him for his pre-surgical appointment for his neuter, I was so glad to have found a vet that was accommodating, kind, and patient with him as he navigates trusting humans again. Or so I thought. When I picked him up from surgery and was waiting in the lobby to pay, I could hear the clinic staff talking about him in a negative manner. Once I addressed it, a light switch flipped on and they were very clearly overcompensating (or one would say kissing my ass) for their unprofessional behavior. While the surgery itself went smooth and I appreciated how caring the staff was (to our faces), I would not recommend a place that talks negatively about their patients when they think nobody can hear. Especially when clients are paying a good chunk of change for care. Patient care, I'd rate a 4 or even 5. I loved how they did so much proactive testing prior to anesthesia. It gave me a sense of peace, as did their kindness and reassurance (again -- to my face). Professionalism, I'd rate a 1 for the reason listed above. Will not be back.

Great vet! Everyone is so friendly. The vet tech, vet, and office staff were amazing and made my nervous kitty feel a little less nervous. I can't say enough about the quality of care they provided. Addressed all my concerns and is a very affordable place to take your fur kid. They tell you step by step where you are with the bill. Which I find very helpful. No last minute surprises when paying. They treated my cat with respect and were so gentle. They were even able to trim her nails... which is a chore! Highly recommend.

My Baby Tanner had gotten seriously injured and I had to let him go to the rainbow bridge. The Dr. said I could be seen within 40 minutes of my call. She examined him first to be see if he was treatable. The level of compassion and gentle treatment of Tanner made a horrible situation seem almost bearable. Thank you.

The entire staff is amazing! Have been taking dogs there for a while, but my Rottie has a soft spot in my heart so I was a little nervous about his first visit. The vets were SO GOOD to my boy. He got so much love, and you know they’re amazing when you have to drag an 80+ pound boy to the car because he doesn’t want to leave!!! Thanks a bunch.

Good location and pricing, Staff was amazing, really impressed with the doctor, she took time to fully explain and give our baby all the time she needed. We are happy campers!

We've been at this clinic for a few years with our cats and dogs. Standard service for the most part with occasional attitude from the staff but we dealt with it since they were decent and nearby. We get to our appt 12 minutes late and they've cancelled it. No one in the waiting room, no phones ringing off the wall. We've waited for an hour before on previous visits and simply accepted it. We can even understand the need for sticking to a schedule. But the attitude is inexcusable.

The nicest people I've ever met.We had a family emergency and they took our 2 dogs for a week. Very professional and affordable!!!!Highly Recommend.

First time here, smaller than what I expected but crew was so friendly. I witness one of the staff take time out to console a customer who was worried about her dog. It was sweet. I felt the love in this place.

I asked them many times to text or call me with any info about up coming check ups on my dog. Of course they said absolutely I’ll write that in your notes. Then when I didn’t know my dog needed certain things done cause they didn’t communicate through text or call like they said they would so now he’s the only one suffering and when I tried to explain the problem the ONWER got upset and started making excuses then told me I’m the reason my dog is going to suffer and wouldn’t do the check up or anything she must really care for animals!! It blew my mind when she said that! I’ll definitely not being going back.

I can't speak as an actual customer, so I can't give 5 stars. However, I was looking for a place to check for a chip on a dog we'd found. They were very kind; looked him over, guesstimate his age, and offered to post him on their page, so we could find his owners. I really appreciate their attention to detail, and the time they took for someone who wasn't a paying client.

JLRC has always taken great care of our fur babies! I love the new email and text reminders. It helps me keep track of the proper care needed for our dogs. They love on our pups just as much as we do!!
