First time at Joann’s, and my very last time too!!!!
Me: (with apple pay set up ready to pay) “do you accept…?” Cashier: (Interrupting me) “No, we don’t accept coupons or discounts or bla bla bla (sounded like that) Me: (staring blankly at her) “I never asked for any of those, if that’s ok.” Cashier: “Oh”! Me: “If you don’t mind, do you accept apple pay?” Cashier: “Oh tappie?! Yes.”
👀
If that cashier # 876077 represents anything about Joann’s, it’s no wonder the store is closing! (I’m sorry) Who wants to visit a store with such poorly trained staff?! It is unacceptable and totally disrespectful to leave such people lacking any customer service skills/experience to actually see and interact with customers!!
Advice: Always hear the customer out FIRST, before blotting out what you’ve been programmed to recite!!!

Worst staff I’ve ever dealt with every single one of them were rude and having a attitude and this is every single time I would go in. Lady told me to do the math my self when I asked the price of an item. I’d rather drive 20miles to another Joann’s then to go to this location

The lights make the place seizure-inducing. Impossible to shop at because of that.

I went to return very pricy yarn (double the price at Michael’s). They could not locate my account at first. Then they could not find my purchase, even though it was 10 days ago. They also said they could not locate the purchase using the card on which I charged it. They’d have to do a “blind return, offering me 1/4 the price I’d paid for it because that was the lowest price it could have been sold for. Customer is NOT their priority.

Some pretty good deals but they need to figure out the air conditioning in this facility, it’s never comfortable cooling here. Within 15 minutes I’m sweating my ass off, this business needs to figure their shit out.

Kay at the fabric counter was rude for no reason. She raised her voice at me for a simple question and it made me feel awful. The girl working next to her was sweet and said “it’s ok”.

This company sells used sewing machines as "new" units and refuses to refund, replace, or provide store credit when the consumer figures it out. The Manager, Thomas, is no help. He suggested I contact corporate but refused to provide contact information for them. JoAnne Fabrics is the Pop Copy of art / sewing supply stores.

Love that Halloween and fall stuff is out. There was a line full of people and only one cashier. No self checkouts were on. So it’s a bit annoying. But other than that employees were nice and lots to choose from.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! We had went to a different location earlier today, and let's just say it wasn't a real Joann's. We have been to this location multiple times, and it is normally clean and staff is really nice. They try to help you the best you can if they aren't in that section. However, there was one extremely nice lady her name was Kay! She was not from the yarn department, however she still helped. We had seen a sign that said 25% off of everything. They were supposed to be taken down, however she still honored it since the person in that section did not take the signs down. She went to the front of the store and took the discount off of the clearance tags for us. After that she told us that everything that had a red tag was 25% off. She let us go look at More ( she left work at 5). And then she even stayed to check us out again to make sure it worked right. Even then she scanned a coupon since we didn't have one. If the manager sees this, you need to give Kay a raise. I love her!!!!!
If Kay sees this I'm the girl in the pink shirt ?

Went to the Highlands location today. There was a very helpful pleasant cashier named Kay working who made the whole experience joyful for my daughter and I. Nice clean location.

Little selection therefore not much to choose from but that's the least of one's worries. The staff her are HORRIBLE. Not the least bit of friendly nor knowledgeable about their own store. There's this Indian or Mexican lady who works the registers and spends more time goofing off and conversating with familiar persons rather than seeing to the needs of customers and when you tell her you need some help she just chuckles. Don't waste your time here.

This store is always good about not having enough cashiers to check you out. You have to wait and wait even for them to call someone up to assist the cashier which hardly happens. All stores in the DFW area are always bad about this even the one I shop at The Highlands in Arlington. They can have several employees on the floor but only one cashier. The customer is not their priority. It's the almighty dollar.
