Rita Barnett Local Guide·47 reviews·88 photos So I would say this was one of the most expensive, more than 10 hours now, quick get it done so we can clock out jobs I've had done on my car. I scheduled an appointment at 10 am on 2/29/24. I dropped my car off and was told it would be ready by 3 pm. I contacted the shop 1115am because I received information that my car wouldn't pass inspection unless I got my brakes done. Which the quote for my brakes on 2/28/24 was $580.00. On 2/29/24 after inspection the new total was $980.00. She stated if I didn't do it they wouldn't pass my inspection. The price is now $450.00 more than what I was quoted. If you look at the photos the new cost is coming from labor, mind you it's 1115am and no one person has touched my brakes yet. I asked what time they would be done she said 230 pm to 3 pm. So I show back up to this shop at 245 pm only to be told they haven't even started my car at all. They stated they were behind and to come back by 530pm it would be ready. So now it's a rush job to get done before they close. I get a call about 455 pm saying my car is ready for pickup. So I asked how many hours for labor was I charge he said he gave me credit so roughly an hr and a half. As you can see in the photos the hours are showing 9 am to 11 am, nowhere showing the true times my car was worked on. On top of that I drive and hear a loud squeaking noise when I go to brake. So I call and let them know about the sound, she stated we're not doing brakes on the weekend. I asked to come back on my off day on Wednesday, she scheduled me for 8 am. I am here now 3/6/24 and she come and tells me they don't hear anything squeaking. So the man comes back after the second drive, she says he still doesn't hear anything but my transmission is messed. So now I'm like what in the heck is going on. She tells me to wait for it to cool down and the he can drive with me. I was like it's my off day now I'm about to be here all day again. I asked could I take it to another Midas she said no the 3 year warranty is with us. So I was over it, I go to leave she was like give it 2 or 3 weeks are if you still hear it come back. I'm like it doesn't matter if I hear it you guys don't so I'm the crazy person that hears squeaking. So I could only post this because I won't get any help there. Listen to my driving videos. Do you hear squeaking or am I crazy? My videos are on google review on their page, listen to the squeaking. Hopefully you don't get scammed like I did.

They didn’t try to sell me on anything extra. Especially as a female getting auto service. Seemed honest at first. However I noticed on the courtesy check report they didn’t do the complimentary tire rotation due to some generic reason, even though the front desk said they did. After talking to my dad who is an auto mechanic/tech and has serviced my car himself (brakes, previous tire rotations, etc) he said they were just making up an excuse to not rotate the tires. The report also said I needed to get the coolant topped off but after my dad looked at it he said it did NOT need to get topped off and explained some mechanics about during warm/cold temps there is more/less liquid. So I think the front desk is nice but the mechanics/techs don’t have a thorough understanding and can be lazy at times.

Accepted a very old “Free oil change “ certificate without argument. Answered all questions. Service was quick, thorough and professional. Will use them again.

New to the Pantego area and was looking for a place to take my 2005 Toyota 4Runner for an oil change. Always a risky decision these days finding reliable and trustworthy places for service.Couldn’t be happier with the visit. From check-in to checkout, the entire crew was helpful, courteous, and great to talk to. Very nice restroom, free cup of coffee, and huge panes of glass to view your vehicle being serviced.I’ll definitely be a regular here. Thankful for experience.

Amazing place! I really loved how they broke down what was essential to change and what could wait for a little. The mechanics and service reps were supper friendly and very informative, they showed pictures of the parts that needed work and separated them into urgency categories. I would highly recommend going to this place for your car needs.
