All the employees are kind, inclusive and polite. Special shout out to MJ for wonderful customer service. You can tell she really loves the customers as much as she loves the animals.

We went is and adopted a dwarf hamster for our 10 year old. Very nice staff and we are happy with the pet.

MJ deserves an award for the worst customer service. In all the Petco's I've visited I've never felt uncomfortable or as if the employee is uncomfortable. Maybe it's my hispanic look, maybe she just didn't like me and that's okay but making a customer feel uncomfortable is not okay!

Lauren was so helpful and personally helped me pick out the items I needed for my fur baby! I didn’t realize I didn’t have the vital care premium, I only had the vital care core which is a step lower so she helped me understand the benefits I was missing! I went ahead and moved up to the next level in the membership! She helped me bring the cat tree to the car while I carried the rest of my stuff. She was so kind and is the definition of quality customer service! I will be back!

Update: found a job! But, went here 1st for an interview. Was discriminated against. At a pet supply store. That pays minimum wage. Interviewer kept checking the time, making sour faces, rolling his eyes. Chino/Gino whatever his name is even tried to discourage me by stating and I quote, " you wouldn't want to work here, you'd have to deal with insects and rodents". Very sad. I bet the next white person that walked through the door got hired on the spot.

We needed to go for dog food and we got some fish in the process. The gentleman in the fish department was knowledgeable and nice. As we walked in the door we were greeted by one of the employees who asked us if we needed anything or needed where to go. Every employee that saw our two dogs stopped and loved on them. And we left happy.

The Petco in Arlington Tx, N. Collins, Tom Thumb shopping center, while grooming our small dog they CUT OFF her rear dewclaw. They were trimming nails and cutting hair at the same time. She's half trimmed, missing a toe, wearing a cone, and on meds. She'll be ok. The hospital put in stitches. This is truly unacceptable and should never had happened. I will never use this Petco for grooming again. This happened Sunday, 09/10/23.

poor customer service, theft! If you make an exchange at this business make sure you get a full refund of your money and repurchase the replacement item because if that item ends up also being a bad item they won't give you your money back. They will give you store credit! Citing system set up.

Had an employee confront me and accuse me of theft in the parking lot because they confused my sunglasses case with an item in their store. I was deeply embarrassed in public over a baseless accusation. I won't be returning or recommending this store.

I’m writing in response to Kelsee W from about a week ago. I wasn’t present during the first part of what she’s talking about. Although she makes it sound like this happened all at the same time, that’s not true. I know this because I was walking into the store and witnessed her parking illegally in a handicap parking spot and then saw her run into the store and grab a balloon that was clearly part of a merchandising display and then run back out. So what I’m wondering is why the heck her kid had it to begin with?!? Maybe instead of blaming the whole situation on the employee who the was just trying to do her job she should be wondering why her parenting skills are lacking to the point that her child feels entitled enough to be able to take things that are part of a retail display. I’m a long time customer of this store, and each and every employee I’ve ever dealt with has been super helpful. Oh, and while I’m at it, Kelsee, how dare you make assumptions about anybody’s education when your grammar is lacking? Do you know the difference between a statement and a question? If you did, you would’ve put a question mark instead of a period at the end of “ how did she know my daughter…” I know this is a bit of a rant, but people like this with entitled attitudes just piss me off.

I ordered a cat carrier on line for in store pickup. Even through I came early to pick up my order, and the clerk, Seth, was very helpful! He immediately looked up the order and invited me to accompany him as he picked up the item to make sure it was what I needed. He even kindly offered to carry it out to my car! Kudos for hiring great staff!!

Jordan was the cashier that helped me. She screamed at my 3 year old about a small deflated balloon. She said that my daughter was about to pop a balloon the size if an orange, however how did she know my daughter was about to pop it. She greeted everyone that came into the store but me. When we were leaving she was still making a big fuss about this small balloon and asked could she have it back. I asked her what the big deal was about the balloon and she couldn't say anything. Besides the balloon situation her customer service was extremely poor. I asked for her name and she refused to give to me saying "it's just a balloon". She's not very educated because clearly the name is listed on the receipt and all I did was get her name from another employee. I still grabbed the balloon off the table just because it really was not a big deal. She definitely needs to be trained or put somewhere else.

The team at my Petco is always friendly, and several ask questions about my pets, and/or offer help. The store is in "tip top" shape - so clean and "clutter-free"!

My GS pup's had their first visit to the groomers yesterday and we were very satisfied with the care and knowledge the ladies in the office provided. We will definitely be a returning at a later date.
