We pulled our son in the middle of the day yesterday, for good. I should never have to question the safety of my child at his “school”. Also, paying the tuition for my son to have 3 teachers & he barely even had 1 solid teacher..

We have LOVED our experience so far at Primrose Southwest Arlington. The facilities are great and the people are even better. They are so attentive to our child and are so intentional with their learning. A special shout-out to Ms. Hewitt and Ms. Torres for being fantastic teachers.

We have been here since the day the school opened. Both started when they were 1. My kids love their teachers and have enjoyed the STEM/STEAM curriculum along with the sign language and Spanish. PreK really prepared my son for kindergarten last year and my daughter is currently in PreK and thriving.

We love the environment at Primrose School of Southwest Arlington. The children have thrived, and have made great friendships. Ms. Charles is the best and we’re so happy she’s now a director!

My child attended this location for 3 and a 1/2 years the last 8 months was complete turmoil with the entire management staff kitchen staff and several lead teachers leaving.During this time my child also experienced major educational regression as evident by their standard ASQ testingInstability. Food insecurities. Lack of experienced teachers. Are just a few things that we experienced.

A school that was once worth the wait!! I was on the waitlist for 9 months to get into the school and it was worth it in 2019!! But that all changed in 2022. Between May 2022 and August 2022, the following positions were vacated: Director, Assistant Director, Education Coach**Master Educator [person over all 3 schools: Primrose School of Walnut Creek, Primrose School of Southwest Arlington and Primrose School of Grand Peninsula, Kitchen manager, **New kitchen manager hired June 2022, Infant 1 lead teacher and assistant, Preschool 2 Lead teacher, New preschool 2 assistant hired in June 2022. (** positions that were vacated and parents were not notified)Under the new leadership this is definitely a true daycare where they play more than actually learn and send them home hungry. The current Director: Emily leadership skills leaves a lot to be desired. Under her leadership there has been massive turnover with no communication to parents on personnel changes, food shortages, no incident reports to parents where children were injured or in danger, no daily curriculums being taught and/or documented. This summer - my child had 6 teachers. The last one started the week of August 1 and by the 12th. I still did not know her name. There was no announcement on the teachers that were leaving or starting. Although the menus look appetizing but feeding Toddlers beef stroganoff and Swedish meatballs and not providing an adequate substitute for option when they are still hungry is not acceptable. To hear a 3-year-old tell you how there was no more food when he asked for more, IS BEYOND HEARTBREAKING. My child has a food allergy that has been documented, and He was still given food that he should not have received. Luckily my child's allergy is not so severe that he goes into anaphylactic shock. Summer 2022 there were 7 document learning lessons, after speaking with the Director on July 1, I was assured that children were being taught this summer and I would see definitely see it document moving forward. There was 1 July documentation on July 3rd. Naps are well over 2 hours long in some cases. With the open-door policy, I have arrived several times at 2:30pm to pick up my child only to find the classroom lights off and all the kids still asleep. There have been several times when I have picked my child up early and his full nap was still documented in the system.Turn over: In 3.5 year, my tuition has been decreases by $10 with the last increase on August 1st – in the middle of the summer 2022 session

Very disappointed in how the teachers/ staff/ director handled many situations. Including: not writing an incident report & calling parents when their child is injured. It is sad that my child has to come home to tell us that they have been harmed by another child at the school and that this doesn't get reported (leaving bruises, scratches, blood). This makes children feel scared to come back to school. Safety should be the first priority when taking care of children! Secondly, I have not seen any academic growth here at Primrose. It is more of a daycare where they play more than actually learn. All around this saddens me and no one is taking accountability and responsibility. Please be aware !!! SAFTEY is IMPORTANT!!

My review is with the wait and registration process. We signed up our LO back in spring of 2020 when he was 16 months they said they may have availability in summer when kids are moved around classrooms. We’ll time passed by and we didn’t receive any call. Called a few times to receive an update they said they wouldn’t have a spot until January 2021. We called back in January and they said not until May 2021. We have yet to hear from them. I am not sure if others got placed before my child or if my child’s paperwork was lost but I was very disappointed as I was looking forward to my child attending.

If you have to send babies to daycare, this is the place for them to go! Every day, I know my little one is learning and loved.

Our first experience with Primrose of Southwest Arlington was before our daughter was born. We decided to tour the facility and we were extremely impressed with the staff and school. The care she receives has been exceptional every step of the way. I would recommend this school to anyone! Like any functioning business, Primrose has seen turnover of teachers. I have never felt as though my daughter was receiving any lesser level of care. They have taught her so many different signs (baby sign language) that my husband and I are having to brush up on sign language ourselves. Primrose will always be special to us!

I can not say enough good things about Primrose!Ms. Case, Ms. N, and Ms. Charles have gone above and beyond to help my son start school for the first time. They are always kind and patient to answer all of our questions. My son absolutely loves going to school and constantly talks about his three teachers. We love getting to see daily photos of his activities and being able to build on these lessons at home. Primrose also offers a basketball program, which is great for our schedule. He also enjoys their music program and is constantly singing all his school songs. I know my son is loved and safe at Primrose.
