Had a great experience at this location till Melinda came. A few days late on a payment and Melinda is yelling that it’s not her fault I had no money for my payment . Mind you 4 days late . Asked to transfer to another store Melinda and Jose lied and said the other store declined the transfer however upon calling the other store they stated they never received a call back from her after reaching out ! I asked for corporates information after being degraded by Melinda and she stated “ go ahead call corporate they love talking to me “ where is the customer service and professionalism? Would have recognized this store before however now I would not . Save your time and dignity don’t be degraded by Melinda

On today I received a visit form One of the drivers and while he was knocking, he was pressing at my keypad and wiggling my door knob trying to get in so I call the location that I received my furniture from to speak to the manager about the situation and how that is unacceptable and his response was” When are you going to pay?” I explain to him how his driver was trying to enter to my house while there was no one home and I am at work and his response is “ Well, he didn’t get” Unprofessional did not show not one bit of concern that his driver was trying to enter to my house And when I repeatedly told him he was trying to get in by wiggling my door knob and pressing the keypad on my door. He said” he was just knocking “ And I told him I have it on camera that his driver was trying to enter my household. He then changes it up.saying “ well, at least he didn’t have a crowbar to your door or window or anything “ his name is James and consistently unprofessional when I spoke to him as someone that is a manager at a Place of establishment this was extremely unprofessional so no concern to any of the situation that I was bringing to his attention consistently brushing me off about the situation and Being rude I cannot understand how I am putting money into a business that is OK with management being like this and when I asked him who was his manager and what was his managers name he said which one I have so many when he knew exactly what I meant. I hope to hear back from at Least the corporate office because this is something I am not letting go extremely unprofessional and not OK and letting your driver throw up gang signs at peoples camera is completely ridiculous

This is the WORST experience I’ve ever had. I purchased a new washing machine and used dryer. I was given a dirty washing machine with soap and hair inside and a dryer that didn’t work. I contacted the store for 2 weeks straight asking to speak with the manager because the store employees were not helping me. The manager James never called me back 3 weeks later. Still no response I had to contact corporate and was told that either James or Robby the regional manager would contact me. Still no contact. No refund/ price decrease was given for being given a used washing machine when I purchased a new one. I have only been with rent a center for a month and all I needed was a switch out for the dryer and either a new washing machine or a discount for the used dirty laundry washing machine they gave me and to give me a working dryer. I feel so sorry for whoever falls victim next. If anyone else has issues with this store please file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, consumer financial protection bureau. I’ve been doing customer service for almost 20 years and I have never experience anything like this in my life.

Terrible terrible terrrrriiibbbblllllleeee management. Richard has the worst attitude. I told the district manager this store needs customer service retraining because they absolutely have the worst skills. Back in December my pay dates were no longer aligning with the pay schedule and I told Richard about this, his comeback “it doesn’t work that way, this isn’t pay when you want too” instead of trying to work with me. Jokes on him because I did pay when I wanted to. And I made sure he saw my name on his little list every day. I made it work my way. Rent a center needs to read these reviews because clearly there’s an issue if there is more negative reviews than positive for this location.
