We have been taking our pets to Sanford Oaks for over 30 years, first with Dr Warren, then with Dr Karen & her staff. From the joyous moments of puppyhood to the solemn goodbyes of old age, our pets have received excellent care, and we have been guided and supported in making decisions to give them every opportunity for optimal health. AMAZING vet clinic! My family and their pets have been coming here for over 20 years. The staff and the doctors here are very kind and passionate about what they do. The clinic is nice and quiet and I love that they usually do the exam and shots in front of you in the room! (Not all clinics do that :) They were SUPER considerate and kind when I had to put my first dog down. My dog LOVED coming to the vet! So when he couldn’t enjoy life anymore, he got to enjoy one last trip to the vet and was surrounded by people who love him. ??

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Sanford Oaks Animal Clinic! I’ve been a loyal customer for over 10 years, and the care my pets have received has always been exceptional. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, and they truly go above and beyond for both pets and their owners. The clinic is a Fear Free environment, which has made such a difference in how comfortable my pets feel during visits. The veterinarians are knowledgeable, compassionate, and always take the time to explain everything in detail. They offer reasonable pricing and are very ethical with their treatment plans—never pushing unnecessary procedures. The clinic is also very clean, and you can tell the entire team is passionate about animals. I highly recommend SOAC to anyone looking for top-notch, trustworthy care for their pets!

I have been going to this clinic since 2005 and I could not even imagine switching to another vet. Dr. Karen Young and staff are wonderful and attentive to my pet's needs. They take the time to listen to my concerns and help put my pet at ease during every visit. Tawney and Tammy are amazing and always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Sanford Oaks!

This is the best vet office in the DFW metroplex. So my Abbi Dabbi Doo loves Tawney in the office. She is excited when she gets out of the car.
Raina Jayne and Sadie Mae are puppies and love coming to the vet. They give cuddles to Tammy at the front.
The most special thing about this place is when I had to put my Cinnamon down the day after Christmas 2023. This office made it the most peaceful and tranquil time. They put a note up as you enter, and they have a sign at the front desk stating a loved one is crossing over. That made the decision easy on the human mind knowing their is kindness for our 4 legged animals.
All the doctors are thorough and don't make you feel rushed when you are there.
If you are looking for a vetinary office that has compassion, dedication, and love, look no further. Sanford Oaks Animal Clinic is your place.

I have used Sanford Oaks Animal Clinic 13 years. The care they provide for my pets is outstanding. The staff and vets are kind and extremely considerate, especially when a beloved pet needs end-of-life care. Highly recommend this veterinary clinic!

Sanford Oaks is one of the absolute best clinics you could take your fur baby to. My boy has come to this clinic with Dr.Karen and the sweet staff since I first got him (2 years ago). They take the fear free certification very seriously and go as far as to educate how to create positive association with the vet. I had to move an hour away but I still take my boy to them for his annuals and call them if I have questions about a health concern. I could cry with joy and gratitude for their compassion and patience towards my boy and I. I am so grateful for Sanford Oaks and I feel so lucky to have found them. ? by the way, my boy is reactive with other dogs and they always work with me to help him have the best visit he can without having a reactive episode.

We have been going to Sanford Oaks Animal Clinic with several dogs for probably 20 years. They take such good care of our furry family members and care about them so much.
