It's a hidden gem. Room was great. Service low only because I wasn't in my room to interact with staff. Be aware of the pet walk, hotel does not keep it up
Rooms: I had a suite, spacious and had the minimal to be able to cook.

The last thing about the place is that apart from how dirty the corridors are, you can't dry your hair with the towels because if you release dye, and it gets dirty they don't change it you have to wash them, or they charge you

This is the third stay I’ve had at a Studio 6. The other 2 were far nicer than this one, but that’s not to say this was bad… just old!
I’m giving an average rating based on the age of the hotel and the rooms. I have no issues with clientele or long-stay residents. We stayed in Arlington as it seemed an ideal middle-location between Dallas and Fort Worth. I imagine that it would be an ideal location if you were going to Six Flags as it’s really close to the park.
When we checked in, the staff member on reception seemed a little taken aback by the fact we had a reservation: “hello”, “hi, we have a reservation”, “oh”. Thankfully, the process was OK though and we were seen to quickly and allocated our room. The hotel spans multiple buildings, and it feels a little maze-like when trying to locate the way through.
The room we were in was clean, and the bed was comfortable to enable us to sleep, which is what I look for when I book a location like this. I was surprised at the size of our room – the bedroom was separate from a living area, which was unexpected. The room had a kitchenette, though we only used the fridge on this occasion. We had a balcony overlooking what used to be a pool, but was clearly filled in many years ago. I didn’t sit out on the balcony, the wooden floor looked a little too old / worn for my liking.
We were here for two nights. Overall, the stay was OK and what we paid for. I’d give more stars for modernisation of the full hotel, and perhaps nicer grounds.

BUGS, BUGS, BUGS. First impression of this place was awful, the air was hot, the AC did not work, and there were not only bed bugs but MASSIVE roaches on the floor. Do not stay here!

Stay here and you're probably getting bed bugs.
Dead roaches on the floor, trash throw around the area, HOT AC IS AWFUL HERE!
The courtyard area had some rough looking people hanging out and it just was NOT a good experience.
We made our reservation 20 mins before arrival and immediately walked out as soon as we walked in, the manager was still refusing to refund us our money and cancel our stay.
DO NOT STAY HERE.
Safety: A rough spot but at least there's a tons of cops driving the area 😂

I would definitely NOT recommend this place!! We stayed here over the weekend and our whole experience was terrible. My group had 2 rooms. In one of our rooms the ac wouldn't go under 75. It was so hot in there. In the same room the door to the room was jammed from the inside and my friend was trapped in the room for over an hour. She left her cell phone in the car and the phone in her room didn't work. She wasn't able to get out of the room until someone walking by in the hallway heard her banging on the door. We told the front desk we wanted a new room for her because the ac and door didn't work and they gave us such a hard time about switching rooms before and saying that it's not their problem and there us nothing they can do about it. We said we are not staying in or payinf dor a room that we cannot get out of before they finally agreed to gibe us another room. The staff Is extremely rude. There is trash all Over the property and the guests are not the kind of people you want to be around. The parking lot was full of people that were looking for drugs and it did not feel safe at all. Lastly, when we arrived my friends and I were smoking a cigarette outside in the parking lot next to our car away from the building. When we walked in to check in the front desk guy was very rude to us. He started aggressively shouting out a list of rules about the property starting with it's a "smoke free" property and you will charged all kinds of fees for those and that before he even asked how he could help me or anything. Terrible service from the start. When we we actually got inside and we're trying to find our rooms, the hallways smelled like weed and cigarettes everywhere. I'm not usually a complainer, but this hotel was absolutely terrible!! I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Save your money!

Check in was ok, it was our last option since our hotel before over booked and nothing was left available for the area. On our way to our room, the halls had such a bad bad odor, almost like a dead body it stunk so bad. We get to our room and it wasn’t any better. There was weed smell all over the halls and outside, dog barked all night across the hall, not a little dog either. Tried to call front desk, no one answered. We had roaches in our bathroom and kitchen area. Went down early to check out because check in guy said when you check out you will get deposit refund. I stood in lobby for 24 minutes waiting on someone to come up, and the front desk girl comes in with a drink and bag from convenience store next door. I asked to speak to manager about a discount or anything for our horrible stay, and I was rudely told there wasn’t one. This was the absolute worst experience at a hotel I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t suggest this place until it’s had a huge renovation of people and building.

This hotel was disgusting! Walked into the room and was greeted by a musty moldy smell and roaches!!! I wasn’t even in my room 5 minutes before I turned around and checked out! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! DO NOT STAY HERE!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE…. THESE PEOPLE ARE VERY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, Harassment, discrimination and humiliation!!! Me and my family stayed here for two months the entire time we was here we was harassed and discriminated by these people EVERYDAY THEY WAS HARASSING MY FAMILY… THESE PEOPLE TARGETED US EVERY DAY WHEN WE DIDNT BOTHER NOBODY JUST WORK AND BACK TO OUR ROOM …. This was the worst experience EVER!!!! DO NOT COME HERE PLEASE. THIS HOTEL IS HORRIBLE ‼️‼️‼️

I think Lisa was right there were centipedes and roaches infested in our room but... scientifically centipedes and millipedes eat roaches, beetles, and ladybugs. My friends were feeding the centipedes and playing with them well it wasn't a fun experience until we had to sleep there was roach poop in our literal bed. They only clean the lobby but is too lazy to clean the rooms don't let them fool you with the gorgeous lobby.

Omar was very helpful and will recommend anyone staying in Arlington for extended times to stay here! Very easy to get in and stay!! * NOT KID FRIENDLY, I had my 3 year old with me and people were constantly complaining and beating on the walls and floor. Calling my room...etc. over my 3 year old simply running across the floor. Not a place I would bring children. Definitely a solo place!Walkability: Circle K right around the corner.
