I worked for them for 1 month in January of 2019. I took every job and even worked 60+ hrs/week. I was never paid. Not 1 dollar. I called only to be put on hold for over an hour. During the hour I had someone else call & they were routed to Michelle almost immediately, meanwhile, I was still on hold. I sent demand letters that were returned. They are the WORST!! 0 stars.

I was a 1099 self employed medical courier for this company and worked full time for 6 months. Gradually, my paychecks went from a few days late to weeks and eventually they stopped paying me. I was never paid for 3 months work. They still owe me and I hope the owners rot in hell. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Tex Express they are criminals!

The name of Texmaster Express has been talked down upon so much that when they hire/interview people they say the work with Texmaster Express and “operate” under the name of Mediquick delivers but they’re really Texmaster . They pay less than minimum wage worked three full days and only got paid $140 and some change . They promise you over $700 dollars a week after 3 weeks and it’s just BS hit $700 one week and that was putting 1,400 miles in a week ! Contractors BEWARE !!!

I worked for this company for 10 years in a management role in Central Texas. Over the past couple of years the company consistently could not pay it's drivers in a timely fashion or in accordance with the contracts they have drivers sign. The reviews posted regarding this are accurate. When I finally began speaking out in objection to this being illegal and fraud and after area police departments began investigating them for fraud I was laid off and cheated out of almost $10,000 worth of vacation and benefits they owed me through a loop hole in my contract and lack of providing proper documentation. Stay away from these criminals at all costs!

I notice a lot of these people appear to have never read the contract they signed , and had no clue they are independent contractors and they signed contracts . If you do what you are supposed to, be available to work when you say you will be available to work you will make money, if you don't and are always turning down orders and take your dear sweet time delivering orders you will not.

If I could give this company ZERO stars I would. I worked for them for 6 days and wanted to know approximately what I had made at that point to see if it was profitable for me. I was told during training you could look on portal every Wednesday to see how you were doing. That was incorrect. I was also told you could get your worked wages in advance and that still has not happened. The COMMUNICATION IS NONE. I made multiple calls to Michelle and you never get a call back but yet she’s always on a call when you call in. After not getting any response from Michelle I emailed the VP Marion and explained what had been going on and ask that she reach out to me. Well NOTHING. I tried calling again today and Tammy has the nerve to hang up on me twice as well as tell me call back when Michelle is available. How RUDE. When they wanted work done they had a totally different ATTITUDE. Being that we are Independent Contractors we put out money ahead and we deserve ours. I GUARANTEE you none of the regular employees go without their checks. I finally got a call back from Michelle after I text the Austin sales representative and he forwarded it to her. I was told my check was mainly last week and it’s still not here. Shame on me I wish I would have looked at the reviews before wasting my time and money. And for those of you who say you make good money as a Contractor for this company must not be telling the truth. When you divide out the wages You make below minimum wage. TMEC should be ASHAMED of the way they treat Contractors. I just want the little money I made. When you read all the reviews it’s strange that the majority of us have the same issues. HUM?? The couple of good reviews must be people they know writing them. I emailed Steve the President today let’s see where that goes. I would hope my money gets to me and if not I will take legal action against this company

Work for ANYBODY ELSE besides this company. You get paid late, if ever at all. They owe me nearly $800. I have been fighting to get paid for nearly 5 months. Nothing but lies, stalls and b.s. They would get zero stars, if it was an option.

They do a great job for their clients, and all these people who are complaining were contractors not employee's that obviously did not read the contracts they signed and did not pay attention to their training.

I'd give this company no stars if I could. They will lie straight to you over and over again about getting paid what you are owed. The pay is minimal at best. The employees have left me on hold for an hour and 10 minutes trying to get my paycheck, and I had no choice but to just sit on hold otherwise I wouldn't have been paid. They will say they have 30 days to pay you if you call early, then you'll have to call and hound them on the 31st day. The lack of professionalism in this company is astounding. Do not work for them if you like to get paid for the work you do.

Do not use this company or work there. They are not a legit company they tried to pay me a month later by Western Union. And on top of that right now I’m fighting for pay over a month later. They claimed I was 10-99 but gave me no papers to fill out for it. Run!

Do NOT waste your time working for this company!!! I have now been waiting over a month for a $161 check. I’ve been getting the run around.
As a business professional, I find this company extremely unprofessional and careless of that fact that people have bills. As a medical courier you do your part by doing the deliveries and then have to fight for a check in which you’ve earned. The fact that they only have one person in charge of payroll who ALWAYS has an issue with the computer or is NEVER at her desk is another issue within itself..
This is not the job to do on the side for extra income because you’ll be waiting for the extra income which defeats the purpose of a side hustle. You’d be better off driving for Uber or Lyft because at least you will get your money on time. BUT rest assured they are not concerned about you being paid because as long as they are paid on time you.. the person who actually did the job don’t matter!
Minding you I signed up for direct deposit (“system issues”) and was still mailed a check which I’m STILL waiting for. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Do NOT work for these people unless you don’t have bills or children to provide for and can wait weeks for such a small check.

Take the negative reviews seriously bc it is the truth. They do not pay you for your work. It's been over 20 days and I still haven't gotten paid. They give you the run-around. I agree with another review, I hope that one day they are shut down so that they can't take advantage of people trying to make an honest living.

After working there my first day, I can honestly tell you that this a business where you will lose money. You will spend all your money on gas and put a lot of mileage on your car and by time you get your check it won’t be much because of how much you spent on gas. Also you receive 50 percent of everything delivered however they don’t tell you how much the value of your delivery is so you don’t know how much money you made for the day which is shady because they can be reducing your paycheck without you even realizing it.
For example you can drive somewhere that cost you ten dollars worth of gas and the delivery is 16 dollars, therefore you make 8 dollars but spent 10 in gas. Avoid working here at all cost.
