Really sad on how my daughter's cake turned out. Name wasn't spelled correctly and looked completely rushed. The picture around the cake was even crooked. Only bonus was they gave me half off cupcakes but was really sad on how this turned out. Got a better cake done last year from Kroger.

I love Tom Thumb and I usually have a very positive experience here in terms of price and friendliness of the staff. Recently, when I’ve been going in one of the self checkout employees (I believe her name tag says Debbie and she is an older woman with short hair) has been very rude and disrespectful. This past week, I went grocery shopping in the evening and I ended up buying a bottle of wine. Since it was evening, only the self checkout was available and you need the employee to verify your ID before you checkout. Debbie (as I believe her name to be) ignored the call for help from the resister and I had to ask her to come help. She rolled her eyes at me and made a comment about me, a grown woman, purchasing wine. This is the third instance of something like this occurring with her. I come in at least once a week to grocery shop and either this lady knows who I am or just acts this way with all customers. In the future, I hope to avoid all interaction with her, as she makes the shopping experience very unpleasant.

Upscale grocery store. Can be pricey compared to others, but you are paying for the atmosphere and experience.

Workers have terrible attitudes. “Sarah” was my cashier. She coughed without covering her mouth, double charged me on some drinks. No “sorry” just said “Oh well, you’ll have to go to customer-service for a refund.” Stood in line behind 5 people, wasted 20 minutes of my time to get the refund, which they put on a gift card. Store has gone downhill. Sad.

If you are a person of color (darker the skin the worse the treatment) don't go through the self check out. Actually don't go to this store.
This location is 3 minutes away from me. I have had multiple bad experiences while buying one or two items and the attendant at the self check out ignores every person (white persons) in the self check out area to stand next to me and stare at me as I buy TWO items. I only come here to get the Burt Sesitive face wipes and a snack. (Not every store has these facial wipes in stock and these are the only ones that work for my pimples.)
I get the message I won't come back. I'm so tried. I'll just order it online and pay for shipping.

Putting a label on a sandwich doesn't make it a turkey sandwich. It has to have actual turkey meat. Purchased what I thought was a turkey sandwich, only to get home and it's ham. I can't eat ham. Waste of money if people can't do a simple job.
