If I could go any lower I would there nothing but rude disrespectful. I tried to explain things to them. They act like they don't care. I would never come back to this place EVER.

The mail handlers steal your packages. It’s super sad. Now I have to bag and borrow to order my kids medicine again. They don’t care about us the people.

Because of a delivery mishap I almost didn’t get my most important Christmas gift in time! I rushed up to this location after they had already closed (I wasn’t optimistic) and yet the staff that was still there helped me and made sure I got my package. I wish I had the man’s name who helped me, but nonetheless he went above and beyond. Thank you!

I get a slip that says they missed me in the mail Friday. Yet I was sitting close to the front door and nobody rang the doorbell or knocked on the door. So I go to the post office and wait a full thirty minutes before being helped at their special faster pick up door. Wait another 15 minutes and was told they couldn’t find my package wrote down my name and phone number and he says he willTry to remember to tell his boss about it not exactly stellar customer service

Horrible people. Ms. Bobby was rude, wouldn't even allow me to use her tape to tape a box. She said I had to print the label and she couldn't scan the label that was provided. I don't recommend anyone going here.

If I could give negative 1M stars I would!!! How does the Arlington post office staff not know that the Parks Mall mailroom only has a key that ONLY USPS has access to!?!? Instead of admitting that their employees are incompetent and lazy they made me continuously call the mall when the mall staff keeps telling me NO ONE NOT EVEN MANAGEMENT HAS ACCESS TO THE MAILROOM SO WHY PUT SOMEONES PACKAGES IN A POINT OF NO RETURN....MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE USPS!?!?!?! Stop playing with people packages that they spend their hard earned money for in the middle of a freakin recession.....this needs to be addressed and training needs to happen for business deliveries fir staff this is unacceptable.P.S. I still don't have my $200 worth of merchandise stuck in the mailroom that only you guys have the key to???♀️

The staff here could work on customer service skills. No one ever comes to the door when you ring the bell to pick up mail. And the ladies in the office sure do know how to bring on the sarcasm. This is a post office right?

Visited the Arlington, Tx., Melear St. post office on Thursday, August 3rd around 2pm. Have visited several times in the past with good to fair customer service. This was NOT one of those times, it was by far the worst. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the employee’s name, but she was NOT the friendliest! Her demeanor was short and rather matter-of-fact during our interaction. Not to mention taking my package and basically tossing it aside. Not in a bin or anything as usual, just tossed upon a pile of papers (upside down). Hopefully it arrives as expected. Not the type of “service” I’m accustomed to receiving at this location or anywhere for that matter!

I used the ones on South or Bowen a lot and they are much better… but Melear Station is on my way home and also the one if I need to do pickups. (1) yesterday at 5:30pm I dropped off my mail in drive through and it says pick up 5pm every day - meaning it would take almost a day, not the employees’ fault but I think it should be easy to do multiple collections per day, I am so used to my New York station having 6 drop off boxes that are collected 4-5 times per day. (2) today I stopped by at 5:15 to pickup a letter that requires signature and it was not back yet. Steve might have tried to be funny which is how I perceived him at first but then it got rude, when I asked him what I should do next. For example, he constantly talked to me in Spanish and I just laughed and even said “gracias” back (he looked Caucasian to me). But then when he said “I am a counter clerk I am not the delivery person, I don’t know”, I have not lost it yet. I said “will there be more redelivery attempts first because on the note they did not mark it as a final notice, and I do not want to come back tomorrow to the same problem again” (that the letter is still on a road trip), and Steve said “sounds like you work here you know everything already”, and I told him that was not nice. They are supposed to help, especially if we are new to the area (I just moved back from NY, you will never find anyone in customer service talking like this in upstate NY). (3) So, I tried to schedule the pickup online following the instructions, but the barcode (printed) gives me the information on the package that has an item ID that has a typo (human error by the delivery person, that’s ok) and it says the address I put it does not match the address in their system, and therefore I could not set what I want to do next. Not very efficient for my time. Although I think even the best USPS locations have 2-star average reviews because only upset customers come online to write a review (Bowen/ Woodland station has 3.4 and that is impressive for a USPS location).

The few times I've visited this post office, I've had a positive experience. So here's what's good and what could be better. What's working: clean post office, wide variety of post office boxes, friendly faces.Upgrade I'd love to see: it would take a miracle to get a kiosk here, small customer service area (lines quickly form to the door), ultra small shop with boxes and labels. It's about timing. My wait on average has been no more than 5 minutes.

For the last 7 times I had outgoing mail, after the mail was picked up, the flag was not lowered. This is unacceptable. As a former rural carrier and retired postmaster I'm appalled that something as simple as this doesn't seem to be getting taught. It's not that hard, pick up outgoing mail, deliver incoming mail and put the flag on mailbox side back down.

Worthless. Every time I ring the bell for customer service nobody comes. Then I ask the lady in the mail room to get help and she doesn’t. Nobody can help and I left not getting what I needed.

I am writing this review because of an employee named Steven or Steve that works at the desk. He was extremely kind, helpful, and made the experience of going to usps worth coming. Please give him a raise!
