Ask for Keith he’s the man he’s got everyone in there like soldiers anyone say anything bad they don’t know what they’re talking about. He takes his job serious make sure it’s done correctly.

I was disappointed today. I went in to get an oil change and the young men were very helpful, however, I don't know what happened underneath my car. I left thinking I was good to go and I rarely go to this location. My loyalty with Valvoline started with the location in Las Colinas, TX. I left the Arlington location after an oil change and got onto the freeway and not even 20 minutes into the ride, it makes this weird scrubbing sound and I feel the vibrations at my feet. It scared me so bad as a single mother of 2 kids and I had my son in the car with me, that I pulled over on the side of the road. I get out and go to the front of my car and look under it, only to find that the cover under my car(I later found out is a skid plate) fell. The Arlington location on Matlock failed to secure it after completing my oil change. My son and I were underneath the car unsure of what we were doing, and found a way to Macgyver it. In my trunk I keep some nice rain boots that tie up, so we took the shoestring and put it through the holes where the screws go to hold it temporarily. I called this location and it took forever for someone to answer and then a lady answered who transferred me to the store. I spoke with a man and explained what just occurred and it went silent for a second then he asked where was I and I told him right outside of Irving. He then told me to go to the location in Irving and they'll fix it. So I was like, that's it?!?! Then he says yes and tell them to call me if they have more questions. I was a bit puzzled because I'm like an apology or something is going to come out soon I guess. Well, it did at the end of the call. I made it to the Las Colinas location safely while driving slowly. They were so apologetic and instantly tried to fix what occurred at the other location. I explained it's not their fault but I am upset with the man who failed to complete the job. I spent a lot of money with Valvoline. The manager at the Las Colinas location did offer me half off my next visit to Valvoline but I don't trust the Arlington- Matlock location anymore. There was a lack of sympathy. This situation could have went worse than it did and I am thankful it didn't but for the person who half did their job underneath my car, shame on you.

I was on a long road trip and my vehicle began having issues starting. I went to a nearby O'Reilly's to get my battery replaced and they told me that they could not install it for me and that I would need to go somewhere else to get that taken care of.There was a gentleman in the store that overheard the conversation and he said that he could help me if I wanted to drive across the street. I had my two toddlers with me and wanted to get my vehicle straightened out asap so I drove across the street to the Valvoline and they took amazing care of me.They knew I was 5 hours away from home so they checked my tires for me, topped off my oils, and made sure everything looked good on the vehicle, in addition to changing out my battery.I was blown away by their kindness and attentiveness to take care of my family. The man's name was Keith and I just cannot get over how kind he was to us. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Talk about going above and beyond for a customer. All I can say is the Manager Keith gained a customer for life. The crew there was amazing as well. Highly recommend!

DON’T COME HERE! Especially if you don’t know much about cars! Came for an oil change and they proceeded to upsell me and trick me into thinking my air filters needed to be changed. After tricking me, they sell me the air filters at a price way higher than normal. A transaction that was supposed to cost $50-$80 costed me $150!!! I repeat, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

I came to this shop for a simple state inspection as i have for the past 3 yeaes. I was guided up to a bay and left to wait for circa 40 minutes. Four cars pulled in and out of the shop from other bays by the time the car in front of mine was finished and i was guided in. Ok, cool, I get that. It sucks, but it's how the shop is laid out. But then I was told that they don't do inspections there and I had to go to their other shop 20 minutes away. Why do you still have the inspection machines and why did I just get a different vehicle inspected back in September? You need to make sure that people are *greeted* when they pull up, not just told to park behind a car, so that you can tell them you don't do what they're there for instead of wasting nearly an hour of their time.

I went to get a State Inspection, and I was there 2 min early. The employee who helped me didn't hesitate and went right to work to help me. Another customer came in for an oil change, and while my car was on the machine, the employee went to help them. Out of the office area comes a person who I perceived to be the manager. The manager almost immediately began verbally disrespectlng the employee and telling him not to do any more inspections that day like it was my fault he was inconvenienced. If you advertise that you do inspections, do them and don't treat the customers like we are a bother to you. I will not return to this business because of how that Manger behaved, and I will tell others not to go there either.

Took my car in this morning, drove perfectly to their location for an oil change only. This car has had it's transmission fluid changed way less than the recommended 60,000 miles at a Valvoline location. Now after leaving this location the car's transmission was slipping up and having difficulty all the way home. I returned to the location first, but the manager is very argumentative and no desire to help. Valvoline has just lost a long time customerService: Oil change
