Crooks! Sold me a warranty on my used car. Was told by the sales person that it would last for 100k miles. I did not look closely enough at the paperwork. The warranty company did have the correct information (Warranty until 149k miles) but changed it today at the behest of Vandergriff. I am still paying for a warranty that I can't use. I will never buy a car here again or get service from them. Also, do not buy a warranty from MPP!

Salesmen are good but service department is complete trash, they told me to come in to fix my recall, then Adrian and Angela tell me i can't do that. I don't feel safe moving my car and this just pro longs it. Missed income from work since vandergriff doesn't wanna fix my recall

Took my wife's vehicle to be serviced. The appt was set for 3:15. Took 30 mins for a service provider to check me in. It was our first time for service. Needed an oil change and car wash. So fast forward it's 615p now and vehicle not ready. Ask the service provider to check. Told me that just got oil change. I had another appointment so I said ok just bring out. When they brought it out the oil change wasn't preformed. So I sat there for 3 hours and no service was completed. As I'm leaving talk to service manger and he said he would give me a free oil change. It was going to be free anyway. So the disappointing part is no one followed up with me after that day. So now I have to make another trip. This time a little smoother. The service provider was very friendly. It was going to take 2-3 hours for oil change and wash. So just did oil change. The most frustrating part was in waiting area. I remember when I purchased vehicle you watch the video from the General Mgr and seemed friendly. As I continued to wait for vehicle the GM walks by and didn't acknowledge anyone. So disappointed that it seemed he was too busy to acknowledge his customers. I know my comments won't break the bank but it does matter. I feel my word of mouth would go along way. Not only that I have purchased 2 vehicles from this location this year. James

For an overpriced used Honda Civic worth 18-20K, The Manager, named Witherspoon was very charming. He said he was going to make a wonderful offer. He came back with the original $25K price, a $4500 extended warranty and $400 charge for NITROGEN TIRES. NOT NEEDED AND COSTCO DOES IT CHEAPLY ANYWAY. COMPLETE GRIFTERS. STAY AWAY! from all Vandergrift dealerships.

Service was impeccable. It's the holiday season so I expected a wait, however, my service tech offered me a free drink, complimentary car wash and my oil change was free as well. No complaints there. Clean interior and bathrooms. They have a cute deli/snack station that was clutch. I didn't feel pressured by anyone to complete a suggestive repair.

We shopped around for a pre-owned vehicle for a bit and ended up at Vandergriff because they had the specific 2020 Honda Accord we wanted. Andy, who helped us, has an easy going demeanor and no pressure sales style that was a welcome change. Hussein assisted him and he was a rockstar. The finance person we dealt with, Lidette was also excellent. All of these people were five stars. What we didn't like or expect was add-on costs above the sticker for buying a Certified vehicle.

Sale person was friend, but that where it ends. Finance is grimy: that nice Puerto Rico women with the big smile will tell you one thing and change what she tells you. First gap insurance is $1,100 next it's $3000. Read your contract as Honda functions as an unethical company that lies so good that they actually believe what they say just look no further than George the sales manager who told us we can not see the contract because it's on the computer. Then tells the salesman we didn't ask for contract ( we asked for it 3 times but was treated like we are poor and uneducated). Honda (Arlington) your company have repetitively lied to me and my wife. " What prosper a man to gain the world but to lose his soul."

On Monday, February 20, 2023 I went to get my rear disc brakes replaced at Vandergriff Honda. The Service Director, Justin Moore assisted me and Technician, Matt Ellis did the repair. Six months later, On Tuesday, September 19, 2023 I was driving & noticed a loud noise, as if something was dragging under my car. I pulled over but couldn't find anything so next day I went to a near by Honda dealership. I informed of noise & they said the only way to find the problem was to do a diagnostic test it which was $200 and inspect. I find out it was the rear brakes metal to metal & rotors need replaced.I informed Service Manager at that dealership my rear brakes were replaced in February, 6 MOS AGO!!! at Vandergriff so,it hadn't occurred to me that it was my brakes. I was livid & called Vandergriff & asked to speak with Justin Moore & come to find out he nor the Technician Matt Ellis no longer works there. I was transferred to new Service Director, Ricardo Sandaval & he asked me to bring my car in so he could look at it. He said maybe it's the way I'm driving. I told him that I've only driven 3100miles in 6mos. And he said it's been known for brakes to wear out at low mileage w/i that timeframe. I've never heard of this before and asked other dealerships.LIES!! NO WAY!! I contacted Honda Head Quarters on 9/22/23. They requested copies of invoices, video, pictures, recordings, and emails, which I sent so we can get Vandergriff take ownership of this issue & see about having repaired by other dealership. The person assigned to case said would contact me w/i 1-2 bus days but didn't so, I called him back & he said the case was sent a couple of times already to the dealerships & to District Manager. I asked for their name & he said that's confidential. Vandergriff nor the other Honda dealership were never contacted by HQ. So, I guess another lie. On October 9, I went to Vandergriff & spoke with Ricardo Sandaval. We went to the serv area together so Technician, Mario could inspect the brake pads. When Ricardo was backing up the car he said he heard the brake noise. I recorded & videotaped everything we went over in office & serv area but neither had an answer.Back in office, he asked what do I think they should do. Make it right, brakes & rotors need replaced at no charge, job wasn't done. I don't know if the brake pads were taken off another vehicle, if the replacement brakes are actually Honda Authentic, maybe I can check the serial #s. It's going to now cost $800 (brakes, rotors, labor). But Vandergriff will not reimburse me nor will they pay for the other dealership to do the repairs. Ricardo called other dealership asked what did they find& how did they come to conclusion brakes/rotors need replacing. They informed of findings & THAT IT WASN'T SAFE TO DRIVE! Ricardo AGREED rear brakes/rotors needed to be replaced but still want to charge. I want my car fixed correctly by dealership that cares & I trust. Vandergriff DOESN'T CARE AND THEY DIDN'T SAY IT WASN'T SAFE TO DRIVE! Don't get service or repairs here because they do not care if their customers get in an accident or worse? Sabrina

I recently bought a car and Jacob Al-Awaldi kept me hydrated and fought to get me into a car at a fair price. he went the extra mile to make the deal work with help from Matt in finance. I went to a Honda dealership down the road at first and was not greeted or payed attention to for 20 mins so I walked out and went to Vandergriff where I was immediately greeted and taken care of. Thanks Jacob and Matt!

Update: Vandergriff keeps asking to "look at my vehicle" why would I ever trust you to touch my car again? Even if I agreed to have you "look at it" there's no guarantee you would have fixed it AND I would then have to have to work verified because I don't trust you. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE. DO NOT GO HERE. front brakes replaced, it took EIGHT HOURS. A few moths later I go to another Honda dealership for other work to be done. They tell me the front brakes needed to be replaced as well as the rotors because the rotors were messed up by Vandergriff. I called Vandergriff and they wanted my car back to look at it to determine if they were at fault. Also, they flat out refused to refund me or pay for the work to be done at the other dealership Save your self many hours and stress and WASTED MONEY, go elsewhere.

I've been with Vandergriff for years, and have had many great experiences. With the service department Issac Moya has always helped me out and made sure I had everything I needed to ensure quality service and for my car to be in perfect condition. With the sales and finance department for my 3rd and most recent purchase with Vandergriff Honda, David Mann and Daniel McEwen helped me get into a gorgeous 2023 Accord! I will definitely continue returning to Vandergriff Honda for their quality service and excellent customer service.

We recently bought a car from Hussain at Vandergriff Honda and throughly enjoyed the experience. He was very positive and attentive during the car searching process. He made the overall experience enjoyable and quick! I definitely recommend contacting him for any used/new car needs!

Buyer beware! Is there a zero Star option???I have purchased 25+ cars in my life and this was easily my worst experience. I found what I thought was a good deal for a used car on the dealer's website. We test drove the car and were ready to negotiate a deal. The car was priced to sell so I wasn't expecting much off the listed price but to my surprise they marked up the price by $8k over the price on the website when we came to negotiate! It was a certified Honda and they tried to say that the extra cost was the price for the certification along with a lot of additional fluff - like nitrogen filled tires, dealer prep, etc. They used every car sales tactic in the book. We threatened to leave several times and ultimately got the vehicle for the listed price plus a few hundred for the window tinting they added. Did I get a good deal? I got a fair deal I would say but it was very stressful. And how many other folks are they screwing who don't know better? In the days of no haggle pricing car buying it's like going back in time 40 years. And on top of that, they still tried to sell me a service contract in financing (not unusual but they already knew I wasn't happy). Bait and switch I would say. Stay away from Vandgergriff Honda used car sales.

If you have to deal with Vandergriff Honda you need to work with Maui! She is amazing! I have been here several times and dealt with many people my experiences were horrible and then I met Maui, WOW!! What a blessing!! She takes such good care of me and all her customers but she makes me feel like I'm the only one she has on her schedule. I won't work with others because those experiences again were horrible. If you get yourself a Honda here know that there are some folks that will treat you RIGHT!! Thank you MAUI!! Raquel

Horrible horrible and horrible. First, my son gets a car from there and they don't even tell him it's an "open loan". They make my husband put him on his insurance before he leaves the dealership which makes no sense if this is an "open loan". So he signs all this paperwork just for them to call him and say bring it back we need to find another bank. First they say one down payment and then when you get there they increase it by 1500. The call and say bring 2000 which we make happen and then you get there and they say nope it's 3500. What a horrible experience. Never will we recommend this place. Y'all need to get it together and learn how to communicate with customers and some dang understanding. Who gives a 19 year old keys, makes him get insurance before they leave and it's an open loan. Then tell him to bring it back. Please make sure you go here and ask questions. Get the details because they are shady.
