We are not a big Tom Thumb shopper anymore but once in a while we come to this Tom Thumb. Good size not real big but large enough with easy parking. I like the decor inside nice style and set-up. The shopping center that Tom Thumb is in just had a new remodel and it looks very nice. Not a very busy supermarket compared to other supermarkets. As for the store I really like the vegetable and florist areas. They are very nice with a good selection of items.

I have been going to this Tom Thumb for over 10 years. It was an OK store and then about 4 years ago it was not too good. A new store director took over and the store was remodeled, it was a big change! The business there picked up and I go there more often since then. The staff is wonderful and they even know my first name. Thanks to the new managers Patty, David and Marten, they really made this store into something great!

Awful store. I've been here twice recently and both times the service was really subpar. Today was one of the worst ever. The a/c wasn't working well! The clerk who just checked me out today accidentally opened up a whole carton of raspberries, spilling out all over the conveyor belt and didn't apologize for her carelessness. It really slowed me down because she had to pick it all up. The clerk had a terrible attitude as well. Also, as others have commented, the selection is lacking, especially in the produce. The time before, the clerk didn't know the price of the deli foods. And worst of all, they never have enough baggers! I won't be back here ever again unless I just need one thing, but never again for a big shopping trip.

This Tom Thumb recently went through a remodel and it's so nice now! I always liked this location for it's customer service and because it's never too crowded, but it was certainly run down and not nearly as nice (cosmetically) as most Tom Thumbs. Now it's had a little face lift and it's better than ever. They put in hardwood floors around the perimeter of the store and they've reorganized the produce section, it looks so fancy fresh and beautiful now. There's also a self-checkout section now which I'm really happy about because I often come in for just a couple items. I can get in and out so easily. The staff is still the best! Helpful as ever and there are always plenty of employees on duty. I feel like that's a big problem at so many grocery stores, not enough staff to help you out or at the checkout lines. But this Tom Thumb is consistently well-staffed with friendly people.

Get new electric carts for disabled customers. You had just the one, dead battery, controls filthy and broken. My money goes elsewhere.

This is a great store, love the renovations. The meat department has improved greatly. It will be nice to see new coolers.

I just moved in across the street from this store. At first, I was super excited to be within easy walking distance of a grocery store, in spite of the fact that Tom thumb has always seemed like the most expensive chain of any I've gone to around here. I've never been able to walk to the store before. Yay! I'm not excited anymore. I'm cranky. I'm wishing it was a *different* store. So far, in the month I've lived here, I have stopped in six times. Every single time, regardless of the time of day, their bakery baguettes were hard as rocks. Not crusty. HARD. If they even had any left, which they did not, twice. Items I've been able to buy at Kroger and Albertsons (and even Winn Dixie, back in the day) consistently are nowhere to be found at this store, though they are likely to have two or three versions of the thing, but none of them the basic version I've always found readily available in other places. For example, I went for egg nog. Just basic eggnog. They had a fat free version, and a dairy free version. There was no empty spot for a regular version, so I don't think they even carry it. It's nice that they have those versions for people who need them, but could they not offer some plain old egg nog during the holidays, as well? For the record, I tried the low-fat version, and it sucked. Egg nog is not meant to be low in fat. One recent night, I bought four pints of ice cream (three different brands, four flavors), only to find that ALL of them had been thawed and refrozen, and had that disgusting gritty texture refrozen ice cream gets. If they can't keep their ice cream frozen in the middle of December, I hate to think of what summer is like... I barely have time to stop for food these days. I certainly don't have time to regularly make second trips back to return crappy food, so I won't buy ice cream there any more. Some items are located in illogical places. When I've wanted produce, some of the things I wanted just looked...so sad. The lettuce was wilted, avocados WAY overripe, cilantro droopy and with no fragrance. Like I said, cranky. The only reason I'm giving them any stars is because their staff has been really nice when they have checked me out.
