Stopped in on vacation bc this location had a Starbucks. We were trying to figure out what we wanted for brunch. While in the store we ended up in front of the deli. The lady that helped was amazing. We decided to get an 8 price chicken. Half habanero half baked. We also got wedge fries and red beans and rice. The habanero was amazing very little heat but great flavor. Very juicy. Everything extremely fresh. The big winner for me was the red beans and rice. Highly recommend this grocery store very clean.

I brought bread crumbs from this store on thanksgiving after I had to throw out my whole homemade Mac and cheese because the first container of bread crumbs had bugs in it and when I got home with a new one it had bugs in it. So I took it back to the store and informed the manager on and he took my information and said the manager over the store would contact me and after having a bad experience with two items with bugs, i still haven't heard back from anyone at all

I've always enjoyed Tom Thumb as a chain. All the perks of the Albertsons corporation, but a step up in quality and experience versus the main Albertsons stores. This particular Tom Thumb is conveniently located between Arlington and Euless near Viridian. It's easy to get into and easy to get out of, which is huge for grocery stores in this area.We stopped in to get the fixings for a nice steak dinner for out of town company. We grabbed some bone-in ribeye, sweet potatoes, asparagus and a couple bottles of wine. Everything was of excellent quality and their wine selection is wonderful.Price-wise, it's a bit more expensive than most run of the mill grocery stores, but in my opinion, that's just fine since you're getting a tangibly better product.Service-wise, they are always appropriately staffed and you never have to stand in long lines. Their employees are always friendly and helpful. The store itself is clean and laid out nicely. They also have an excellent selection of plants and flowers. I'd definitely recommend this Tom Thumb location.

I will never use their online pickup again. My order wasn't right and I was missing things I paid for. The refund process is a huge hit and miss, and I never received my refund for the items I didn't receive. Items were substituted for the exact same item at a higher price, how is that even possible?? And to top it off, I selected "No Substitutions" to avoid that very inane situation. Never again, at least not at the Green Oaks location. I usually shop the Pantego location anyway, much better atmosphere. I was in a hurry this time and that literally cost me $$.

Hayden the night manager @ Tom Thumb location 2755 North Collins in Arlington, TX I am appalled beyond reproach at your lack of excellent customer service and the breakdown of your ability to handle a delicate yet simple situation. My objective was to partner with you to resolve an issue with your staff. Instead, you decided to support an integrity issue with one of your subordinates. When I asked you for the less than a gentleman's name you became defensive and falsely informed me that you didn't know the individuals name working in the meat department that ended our shared phone call prematurely and intentionally. You were given all the details and in fact I walked back to the meat department with you by my side. Honestly all I wanted was an apology and for you to take responsibility on behalf of your dishonest employee. Instead you left me wondering why I even patronize Tom Thumb to began with. Your entire staff needs sensitivity and diversity training. In fact, your staff needs to be more diverse. There has been issues before, but this one tops it all. I took the liberty of leaving a survey detailing this unfortunate occurrence and reported the issue to corporate after waiting on the phone for what seemed like an eternity. We are supposed to be in this together. Your staff doesn't engage with people of color. Your staff doesn't say hello upon entry. Your staff lacks the confidence to deal with situations such as the one outlined above. This location and the lack luster gentleman working in the meat department today @ 9:27 CST, which is the time the original call with the unknown individual in the meat department answered my phone call. If you all have a way to review the phone call it will be quite clear that your employee is dishonest. I am shocked and appalled by how I was treated. Hayden I still feel there is hope for you provided with additional training and coaching. What I sensed is that you were attempting to give your subordinate the benefit of the doubt. What you did was validate his dishonesty while making me feel very defenseless and uncomfortable. Tom Thumb is this how you treat all customers? Hayden when you said that I was defensive when I merely asked for the unknown gentleman's name, you actually escalated the situation vs mitigating the scenario. In addition, when I brought it to your attention in a calm yet assertive tone you became defensive, because I said that as a manager you should know who is on duty and the names of all staff members. My statement wasn't to make you feel indifferent. In fact, I liked how you greeted me initially. When we got to the meat department your resolve shifted in an unprofessional manner. I am greatly disappointed, because you actually seem like a decent individual. It is very unfortunate that I even have to list your name, because that's the only name I was provided.. The original issue lies with the unknown individual working in the meat department @ 9:27 on 12-1-2020. This unknown individual blatantly lied and stated I yelled at him over the phone when I asked a simple question that he refused to answer for whatever reason. Tom Thumb you were the store that was an example for other groceries to live up to. In fact, when I was 15 this was my first job.. Now I shop here. I am now in question on if you all deserve to do business with people of color or anyone else for that matter. A simple apology and ownership would have eliminated this review that I am now taking the time to write. I AM APPALLED Tom Thumb by the behavior displayed by one of your managers and his subordinate. There was a lady at check out that was pleasant and I appreciate that much from here. She gave me the information I needed to escalate this issue to the area manager. I am disappointed to say the very least. I am offended as a educated black man that frequents this location primarily, because it is in close proximity to my home in Viridian. What more can I say besides.... Tom Thumb and its élite executives what do you have to say about this?

How in the hell you're doing returns??? Your competitors Walmart and Target are!!! Never shopping at Tom Thumb again. Only reason I shop here sometimes is because my wife like here but no one...Beside your prices are outrageously high compared to others.

I have always loved this Tom Thumb. We shopped here when I was growing up and now as an adult, I have shopped here for over 10 years. I have utilized the pickup service, delivery service and we come in all the time. I understand that right now, items are hard to come by and when I received my delivery receipt showing that 3 items were out of stock, I was totally ok with that. But when the delivery arrived and 8 additional items were missing with no explanation, I was not happy. I can come in and get the missing items, but I was utilizing the delivery service for the convenience. I won't do it again. I'm missing over $30 of items. Not worth it.

I used to like this store but they've gone down in quality and service since the beginning of the year. The deli stood up my family and I waiting on fried chicken for over an hour which they said 5-10 mins over and over and over. Meat and salads are old and their app is glitchy. Now during this pandemic, they are literally the only grocery store company that has limitations where I live. Walmart, Kroger and WinCo don't have any limitations and they're packed! Now reading this info about making only one person per family to come in is just stupid! I won't ever go back to this store.

I ordered this cake from the bakery, I picked it up Saturday, March 14. This cake was one of the best cakes I have ever eaten. I would have gave 5 stars, but, they told me they couldn't do white, cake with almond flavoring. The cake was still amazing, very fresh, the buttercream icing was perfect. The price for my cake was very reasonable. I should also mention, it was beautiful, I had sugar Crystal's sprinkled on top, absolutely beautiful.

Needs self check out or multiple express lines always open!!!!! Great store but takes way too long to run in for one item.
