Couldn’t be happier with my experience at Westmoreland transmission. Got a new clutch in my 2004 GT, while it’s not the prettiest condition, they still cared enough to cover my floormats as to not make a mess. It’s the little things!Clutch feels great and will definitely be taking any other vehicles in need of repair to them. Thanks again!

Was referred by a family member when my transmission went out on my 07 F-150. I stopped by and spoke with Bob in person before taking it in, he was honest and gave me an idea of what I would be looking at. I stopped in to arrange having my vehicle dropped off after hours and spoke with his daughter and a couple of employees. They were all so friendly and helpful. Turn around on the quote and repair were quick. The financing option at the holidays made it so easy. At pickup I worked with Bob's wife (I apologize for not catching everyone's name) and was in and out quickly. Will refer them to anyone I can.

Honest transmission repair shop. That's primarily their main business and they do it well. I took my Nissan Juke in there for a transmission tune up and it was accomplished quickly and the cost was reasonable. He also gave me some suggestions going forward. I will use the shop in the future and highly recommend them.

Completely rebuilt and upgraded transmission we invested over $6k in for our 2012 Dodge Ram 2500, proved to be short-lived, covering less than 60k miles within a span of four years. We expected a minimum of 100k miles, which is even on the low end for the quality of build we were told we received. It will no longer shift into gears and is completely inoperable. Despite our attempt, Westmoreland has declined any inspection of his prior transmission work to identify the cause of the problem. His only solution offered is to completely rebuild his previous work, at 100% our expense. Our expectations were for Westmoreland to inspect, determine the problem, and offer his services again at a fair cost to us, not an additional $6k full price. This would be a $12k investment at the end of the day. We could have gone to a more reputable shop who has pride in their trade for that rate, but we took the advice and reputation that he was honest and exceptionally skilled with diesel transmissions. Should Westmoreland decide to reevaluate and inspect the issue, our opinion might change. I value the chance to update my review based on positive actions. However, presently, I cannot recommend his service for reliability or a mechanic who truly stands behind their work. RESPONSE EDIT: At the time that we arranged the tow truck and informed Westmoreland, they changed their tune and refused to to inspect the truck and required payment for a complete rebuild.

I’m the kind of guy that likes to wrench on my own vehicles. But rebuilding the transmission is all together a different story. I knew I had to find a specialist. A guy that I can trust. Bob’s that guy! He had it for a little less than a week, and now it shifts better than when it was new.

I can’t thank this business enough for their help with my vehicle and for how nice they were. They were able to find out the issue to my vehicle as soon as they could. The financing option that they offer came in very handy and within a week, my car was fixed. I’ll for sure use them from now on when it comes to transmission issues with my car. Thank you all again for everything.

When I described the vibrations I noticed in my car between 2nd and 3rd gears, a service desk employee of Autonation Ford diagnosed the problem as my transmission, told me it would take four weeks for someone to simply look at the car, and it would cost $9K to replace, I was flabbergasted. I am so glad I called Bob at Westmoreland Transmission. When I described the same problem, he said he could take a look at the car the next day and also told me that us was likely a torque converter issue. I dropped my Ford Explorer off the next day AND his lovely wife and partner drove me back to work so I didn’t have to rearrange my schedule again (it took me a week and a half to make an appt at the other place ?).We picked it up today (a week later) and it’s running great! I am so glad we called Westmoreland Transmission and for a fraction of what the Ford place would have charged. If you need experienced, honest transmission service, I highly recommend Westmoreland Transmission. We’ll be back in 50K miles to have the car serviced!

They were recommended by a trusted mechanic. Rebuilt my sport trac's transmission, and all is working well. Thank you, Teresa, for the lift home when I was stranded at the shop.Recommended.Service: Transmission

Westmoreland Transmission saved me a tons of money! But, most importantly they were HONEST, and with that alone they gained my trust. I took my vehicle there cause my transmission was slipping everytime I came to a stop (felt like someone slightly rear-ended me everytime), but after they checked it they found that 3 screws were missing from my transmission pan and as a result trans. fluid was really low. Fluid refill and 3 new screws did the trick and my Truck is now running like a champ again. People listen, you DON'T find too many honest mechanics out there these days, and any other mechanic would have had me for the long haul, but Westmoreland Transmission showed that they are honest and that they are in the business of helping people. They have gained my trust and my business and the business of my entire family for a life time! Thank you Westmoreland Transmission!
