I've learned the hard way that there are almost always going to be hiccups when it comes to renting cars. The "Customer service" via the phone or the inventory via the website is very rarely accurate to what is ACTUALLY available at each location. Check DIRECTLY with the location. Yes, it takes more effort on the phone to finally get connected with them, but it saves a lot of headaches.I ran into this situation two weeks ago after I was in an accident (not my fault) and my car was totaled. I had zero backup options and had to secure a way to get to work. I went directly from the emergency room to Enterprise.Justin S. in Athens saved my sanity. I may not have been able to get in a car that very day, but he got me into one (and then a better one) the next day and it was a very easy process. I have no doubt that the first day I went in, I was likely not the most pleasant, in personality or appearance due to my ordeal, but everyone was kind and patient. He made it very easy to extend my rental an additional week, as well.When I dropped off today - everyone inside was equally friendly and helpful. Got a printed receipt to turn into insurance and was emailed a copy too. Thank you for the exceptional care, kindness, and customer service! -JW

We picked up the car auto Athens and we were driving to Tyler in order to take my mother in law to get her surgery and hercheck upstairs instead we ran over something on the outskirts of Chandler and we called in to enterprise who informed us it would take 4 to 6 hours it's 6 hours before they could get a record out there tou're out there to us and I had even warned them that I had A woman in the car that was medical as of this moment I've still been setting for just over 3 and a 1/2 hours with no phone call or anything about a record

They charge your cards without notification 3 months after the Insurance company failed to pay. Not my fault, but you sure could have called the customer. Oh and we can't forget if they don't know how to handle the situation they block your number

I won't give all the boring details, but I needed to stop and give this place a review of service. I was traveling alone with a full car back home when my rental had a flat. I called and was routed to the Pit Stop (also amazing service!!!) and they led me to Will with Enterprise. He brought me a replacement vehicle, traded out my vehicle, and papers were signed in less than 30 minutes! I was amazed. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend doing business with them. Thank you Will and Pit Stop team!

Enterprise rental doesn't even deserve one star rating!! They over charged me for a vehicle which they originally told me the reason being was because it was a 2 day rental but harassed me the following day about it being due back. I called customer service, they agreed the charges were wrong but no one ever followed up with me so when I called them back they tried to justify the charge first because I was late being the vehicle back which I had no reason to break back the next morning I told it was a two day rental and besides I can't charge me ahead of time for something that may or may not occur so then they told me it was because they consider the rental time starting when the reservation is initially set which I've never heard such in my life I will be taking this further will be contacting corporate come next business day and I also I'm going to report this to the better Business bureau. Save yourself some stress and DON'T RENT FROM ENTERPRISE RENTAL they rip you off and do not care about customer service or satisfaction!!

Reserved a minivan on March 20, 2021 to be picked up today (June 12,2021) @11. Arrived about 10 minutes early, only to be informed that the vehicle I reserved could not be rented because it is too new and none of the parts stores carry the oil filter for this model. Ended up having to miss an extra 2 hours of work to drive to another town to pick up an SUV I didn't want. What is the point of reserving a vehicle if they cannot make sure it is available? Utterly ridiculous!

Didn’t have a car available period, much less the class that we had reserved. Too much of a fiasco to go through the whole story. Ok, I get it sometimes cars aren’t available but we didn’t find this out until slightly before our scheduled pick up time. The only way we knew then is because we called them. Three hours later, still no car. Now throw in the unprofessional, rude young man who looked to be attempting to run the place, one star.

I had reservations for a car one month before the pick up date , I went to pick up my car for them to tell me they didn’t have one for me , LAST MIN I Literally arrived 30mins for my pick up time to be told they don’t have anything available! - Poor service

Worst possible customer service over the phone. They won’t answer, and when they do they tell you to “please hold” and forget about you. Guess the Athens location expects you to just hang up. Also, we turned our rental back in on Thursday, was told we would be emailed and refunded our deposit. It’s Saturday now and still no email or refund of my deposit.

How can you book a car when no one answers the phone for 20 straight minutes with no voicemail at 1pm on a thursday? Fail.
