This car wash is a joke. This car wash has not functioned at full capacity since it opened, every time you go through it half of it is not working, brushes not spinning, soap not dispensing or water not spraying. Half the time vacumns aren't working but management dont care because they will tell you that it is just a free service they offer. So who cares if the vacumns work. You have to stop at the vacumns to dry it off since the blowers dont adequately dry your vehicle. I say you shut this place down, fix what is wrong and reopen. Give your monthly membership members a couple free months since my 6 year old daughter could wash my car at the same capacity as this wash does to my vehicle. I now drive 45 minutes away to Gun Barrel City to go through a fully functional Car wash... DO BETTER!! This post is about your car wash in Athens, TX......

This wash has really gone down hill,paid $30 today, one brush hasn’t worked in months, this trip the rinse was only half working. Still completely covered in soapy water when it was done.

My car had a thick layer of dirt and debris and needed a little more help than the basic wash. When I was at the vacuums, the owner came over and talked to me about my parking conditions at home and sent me through the wash again! With his expertise and choice in wash I was able to go home in a clean car!

Purchased the $27 wash (most included/total package). The top roller didn't come down to touch the car, the left one was spinning but missing important rows of cleaning strips. The next one on left wasnt spinning at all. Came out wet but not clean. So many bugs. No competition in town, so I guess there isn't the drive to have top notch service or maintain equipment. We will not return to this sad sad sad location.

I have a membership, and the Athens location is the worst. I use the other surrounding locations if at all possible. Ran my truck through 3 times today and still had dirt on hood and bugs on windshield. Almost every time I go through some brushes are not working and side spray of the soap was not working as well. Very dissapointing.

As I go through the car wash each week, I'm consistently impressed with the work of Abraham, the man who scrubs the front and back of my vehicle. Living 1/4 of a mile up a dirt road, my vehicle gets really dirty, but he prewashes it well each time and does so with a smile.
As an update to my previous review: the mat cleaner has been repaired, and all of the vacuums function well. The cleaning supplies for the interior of my car are invaluable. I love how clean my car looks and feels each week. Second to the great vacuums, the well-stocked detail center is my favorite.

James is very humble, kind, and hard-working man. I particularly appreciate how well he scrubs the front and back of my vehicle. I travel 80 miles daily and my car has many bugs in the front. Whenever James cleans the front of my car, he removes all the grease left by the insects.
