“Grew up watching movies in the theater in the 80s and 90s. Have recently been back and seen a couple of movies there when visiting some friends. The picture and sound quality was good, though the chair backs seems a bit tall for a non stadium seating theater, but it beats the old seats we had when I was a kid that didn't even have cup holders. The remodel is nice definitely is a Cinemark. I could still see the past when I walked in, so many old good memories. Pretty sure the bathroom tiles are still the same.”

“Went for the TAPAS wine and food pairing. It was really good! Of course the wines were wonderful and surprising when paired with certain food. The choice in food was also really good! Kim was so friendly and so helpful along with Austin. Definitely will go back for another TAPA and for a dinner. Highly recommend!”

“This is one of our favorite spots to go to when we are in town and visiting Lake Athens from Dallas. It is a hidden gem with great views, fabulous food and seriously tasty wine. Recommend calling ahead when you can. You cannot beat the view and their patio when the weather is nice. The bruschetta is great and so are their cheese boards. Most food we've ever tried has been great. Kim has helped us a few times, it's always nice to see familiar faces in the staff! Sometimes I wish they would play different music or have live music on the weekends. I recommend buying a bottle or 2 for home when you leave :) Love Tara winery!”

“Hotel is undergoing renovations 02/2024 and the bathroom in our room needed it! The pool, meeting rooms, etc were closed during renovation but we were just there for a quick overnight stay while on the road so that didn’t bother us. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Common areas were clean. Breakfast was meh… so so. Scrambled “eggs”, floppy turkey sausage patties, and a pre-fab sausage biscuit that had sat in the chafing dish too long and gotten hard as a rock. They also had a waffle maker, cold cereals, oatmeal. But the real treat was Lou Lou! She checked us in at almost 10 pm and really made us feel welcome and valued. Probably the best staff member of any Holiday Inn Exp I’ve stayed!”
“It's a very fun a wonderful place it's too bad they don't do comic con there anymore because of the rental price being higher but in all it's full of amazing and wonderful memories that I hope no one ever forgets!!!”
