Something shady going on with their billing.

This hospital visit was literally a $1200 waste of time! It was about midnight when I rushed to this emergency room after experiencing blood in my urine while being 10 weeks pregnant. They took my vitals, then brought me more paperwork to fill out. Then they brought me to the bathroom to pee in the cup. Then the doctor came in and asked what I expected to happen at this visit and I simply responded to check to see if my baby is still healthy. The doctor on this night shift starts talking about how they won’t be doing an ultrasound because the fetus is too small to see on there and they usually can’t see anything until 18 weeks. (I already have an ultrasound scheduled for later and I already have a son so Idk what kind of lie you would even call this.) He even added that they don’t have an ultrasound machine inside this hospital, but they order them “in case of emergency.” (As if me coming here isn’t an emergency!) Soon after, someone came in to take my blood. Then the doctor took me to another room to perform a pelvic exam. He stuck the speculum inside me and swiped some swaps around & that was it. Oh and did I mention, the door was open while I’m spread eagle on the table? I put my clothes on and went back into the other room I originally started in. The doctor came in and told me that bleeding is SOMETIMES normal in pregnancies, but mine is light so he THINKS it’s just spotting. (Even though I’m still bleeding this morning when I woke up to write this review.) He went on to say that my cervix is closed with no clear indication of this not being a miscarriage. He then informed me that the pregnancy test was still positive. (Which of course it is because my HCG levels wouldn’t be down yet even I was experiencing a miscarriage.) I spent close to 2 hours here and they didn’t make me feel better about a possible miscarriage because they basically told me everything that I already read on google. The doctor just kept telling me to get to an OB for follow up. (Which is what I’ve been trying to do for this past month, but the insurance ppl are giving me the run around, stressing me out, which is probably why I ended up here in the first place.) Anyways, of course the visit ended with the front desk lady asking me if I had any money to put towards my “discounted” price of $1200. I literally left this emergency room and thought about going to another emergency room just to get a piece of mind. By the way, the next morning, had a miscarriage! ?

I feel like this place scammed me and judging by the reviews I'm not the only one. From what I can tell, their imaging people didn't bill my insurance and then just started adding zeros onto my bill like it was going to be paid with monopoly money. I truly believe that my insurance was intentionally not billed by their third party radiology contractor and that the billing practices of this establishment and their 3rd party contractors need to be investigated for fraud.Edit: I've literally called and asked for follow-up before the date of the response by the facility and have yet to have any word back. Also after trying to follow-up with the third party radiology contractor, my insurance was not at this time able to find any record that the radiology contractor ever tried to bill them despite a representative from the radiology cmpany telling me otherwise, and when I again called the third party contractor a representative at first refused and then with what I would describe as extreme reluctance said they would attempt to file an insurance claim, but I have no documentation of such an effort that I have ever been presented with through my insurance and the radiology company representative has been what I consider evasive, and inconsistent, while also from what I can tell avoiding contacting my insurance at all, which is extremely alarming and seems outside of all standard billing practices that I have ever heard of. The whole situation leaves me wondering why there is such an issue with having my insurance taking a look at this?

Dr Breland, Stace Kean has no sympathy for patients a terrible clinic, the medical practitioners the doctors and nurses would deliberately frustrate you by not attending to you just because they want you to go to a different clinic. The doctors act like they are rendering a favor to the patients. The doctor left me unattended to for 4 hours. Go to this Emergency room only if you are ready to die. This doctor should not be an ER Dr because he lacks Empathy.

This place don't even deserve a one star! No bedside manners whatsoever! The nurses are rude & the doctors are full of themselves! I wouldn't recommend this place for health care! They do not care! Please beware & choose wisely!

This "ER" is trash. The doctor is rude and has an attitude of he is better than everyone else in the room because he is a doctor. I brought my child in for respiratory and issues with fever along with discoloration of hands and lips and was basically told to take him home as he just has a virus and we will have to ride it out. However they made sure to take X-rays and other tests that were not needed just to send us home with no answers and a $2500 bill for no actual care. I don't care if I am dying, I will never step foot in this ER again.

If I could give ZERO stars to Dr. DeLaughter and the nurse that I saw tonight I would. I went in because I felt really dehydrated and was worried about that since I had a surgery recently. I explained everything to the nurse. I explained everything to the doctor whose bedside manner is trash in my opinion. I should have learned my lesson the last time I came here and he was being condescending like I don't know what my body feels like. Same thing today. If you have ANYWHERE else you can go... do that. I can't speak for the daytime doctor but I don't feel like Dr. DeLaughter listened to my concerns. I was there 2 hours for nothing. He came and examined me and apparently, according to the nurse, he decided that I wasn't dehydrated from that examination. That happened in the first 20 minutes of me getting there. They ran tests for something I DID NOT ask them to treat me for. After almost 2 hrs there, the nurse comes bouncing into the room with a prescription and a confirmation of another issue that I already knew was present and that I ALREADY received treatment and a prescription for from my PCP. I NEVER asked them to run any test for that nor did I say that was a presenting concern. I came in for dehydration. If u felt I wasn't dehydrated... say that and let me go. Don't hold me there shoving water down my throat so you can do a urinalysis for something I didn't ask you to treat. Shame on me for going back after the awful time I had the first visit.

I go here often when my kids can't be seen by their doctors and are sick. That staff here is very friendly from the person at the door, to the nurses and doctors. It is a smaller hospital so don't expect that there's going to be a multitude of specialists on site, but they will call them if needed. The Russian doctor here is by far my favorite, he is very friendly, knowledgeable and he is almost always there. I do not remember his name for I have trouble pronouncing it at all l. Hate going to hospitals but I do not mind being here due to how small it is, and how fast services provides are.I'd like to add that imlive in savannah and this location is very convenient for me. It is very quiet and calm here, if you want a bigger facility this may not be the place for you.

I was feverish and went to the Baylor Scott in White ER. They were really nice people, but they gave me medicine that I didn’t need and I’m still having repercussions from it. I was misdiagnosed and now I’m I’ve been suffering for about two months after and I came out worse than when I went in there they did to my fever, but they made everything else worse, hate to give a review like this, but feels like I’m getting ready to die. I don’t know what I’m gonna do after this. Something Hass to be done.

Horrible location. If you are okay with bare minimum care and being treated like you are a hassle then this is the place for you. The ER has a doctor but if you get admitted into the hospital side there is no doctor. Be prepared to only see your doctor via video chat. After two nights of staying there, there was maybe 1 nurse that actually seemed like she wanted to be there and do her job well, the rest acted as if it was a pain to have one person in the hospital wing. Yup, no one else there, just us. I ended up playing nurse most of the time for my partner and god forbid you ask a question cause you will just get an eye roll. Horrible location, highly recommend going elsewhere. Very impersonal and bare minimum care.

This place sucks. Nurse walked away after I was brought in on a stretcher saying you reek of marijuana I'm calling the police. I called 911 for an ambulance in 110° heat and it was hard to answer questions. Hemp is legal in all 50 states federally.

Would not recommend and will not be going back! The front office people are always so nice, however, the nurse and doctor that I had was just good at faking it. I took my 23 month old son here because his pediatrician was closed that day. I told them my son, had been coughing really hard and was acting like he had problems breathing at times and was possibly wheezing sometimes to. The doctor or nurse did not check my son lungs, ears, mouth or anything but diagnosed him with an upper respiratory infection. After asking the dr to listen to his breathing he did but when I asked his response was I guess I could. Like excuse me!!!! Shouldn’t that be the first thing you and the nurse should do anyway, I thought that was procedure. I mean every time I go to the doctor for a sick visit that’s the first thing they check and with him being a child it definitely should’ve been done immediately. Well, I took my son to his pediatrician 2 days later and my son was diagnosed with bronchitis. Long story short they do not care about their patients, I mean not even enough do their jobs. They will diagnose you with anything just to get you out of there. Worst experience ever!
