I've used the Gun Bluing Shop several times for armament handling, service and tactical assistance. Mr. Ansley does outstanding work and is very detailed and attentive for all refurbishments, the bluing processes, receiving TTL items, maintenance and servicing. On one occasion, Mr Ansley and I had traded phone calls trying to schedule a time to meet. It was a bit back and forth and several days, and apologized, told me he'd been at the hospital for wife's surgery. It was no worries at all, and hope she heals soon. Thank you kindly.

Never had a chance to evaluate this shop's work as after the initial conversation shop's owner failed to return my calls, he suggested to call him 1 hour ahead of me coming to the shop, I did - but again, he never followed up. That's very irresponsible and doesn't help his business reputation. Contact him if you want to loose your time and faith in good people:-)

Don't hesitate to use Mr. Ansley for "oldies" either. He has already blued two Iver Johnson top break revolvers for me (the oldest being 1896 vintage) and a Colt 1908 Vest Pocket .25 (1919 vintage). He has brought these examples of American firearms history back to life. Currently looking for another project for him.

Clarence is top notch. Sent a Ruger #1 with pretty bad damage from Hurricane Harvey. Rifle looked nicer than original when it was returned.

Mr. Ansley was superb. He is a rare professional that is seldom found anymore. He takes a deep pride in what he does, and it shows. You will not be disappointed in the final product.
