Talk to real humans who are always ready to solve any problems. We've been with them for years. New big company is bringing fiber optic to our neighborhood. No Thanks. Sticking with Western Broadband!

I have used Western Broadband for years and wouldn't use anyone else. They are very reasonably priced for their good service.

Customer service/technical support has been condescending and rude the last two times we have needed support. Didn’t write a review the first time thinking the person was just having a bad day. He did help resolve the issue, though.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. It’s the 8th of the month and I they have already slowed me down so much, I don’t get any emails or texts or hardly any calls in my home. Once I leave my house I will get all these voicemails and emails all at once. So I’m screwed if I’m trying to do anything in my home where I need a code emailed to me. This Daron guy is total waste of time. Twice he treated me like I wasn’t even a customer. And it’s the same nail scratching voice on the voicemail so he obviously runs it and doesn’t care at all about his customers. My kids can’t even play Roblox and watch a movie at the same time even though I spend $100 a month. Not even at the beginning of the month. I try not to leave bad reviews over just one time. I give others an opportunity to show me how the company is as a whole. I’ve been with them for over a year and I’ve been mistreated every other time I call in for help. They talk to me like I’m stupid just because I’m not some tech person. He yelled at me today because I asked him why my wifi doesn’t work if my T-Mobile range extender isn’t plugged in and he literally screamed at me and said “I can’t help it if you have a router that doesn’t work” He wasn’t even listening to me. He just wanted to argue.Trust me when I say, don’t walk away from this place-RUNNNNNN!Heritage broadband is so so so much better. Very very fast internet and very great customer service. Do not waste your time at western broadband!!

I'm a long-time customer of Western Broadband. Getting reliable internet service in the country is challenging. We are far enough out we will likely never see a cable provider run lines to our neighborhood. There are two options. Satellite (lag exists and does not work well with VPN connections), or point-point wireless like Western Broadband. Western Broadband delivers a stable, high-quality connection. I have had to upgrade my antenna a few times, but that is necessary to get better speeds and more throughput (point-point wireless is constantly evolving with new standards). They have been very reliable over the many years of using Western Broadband. I highly recommend them!

Western Broadband is always there to answer my questions. They tolerate the slow mind of a 71 year old woman and they have lots of patience when explaining how things work and everything else. Great company. Thanks Craig.

I called Western Broadband on a Saturday and was promptly asked how they could help to restore our service. Craig was polite and professional and determined to fix our complicated issue.(GRANDKIDS MONKEYED WITH THE ROUTER) . Craig was patient as he could be as he walked me through restoration of service Outstanding service!

Pay for the $150 plan. Internet constantly stops working. If you call about it they say it’s just the amount of traffic connected to the tower. How is there so much traffic at 5am? Or 2am if can’t sleep? Also If u want a tech to come out and check everything it’s $100. It’s ridiculous to pay for a service and get dial up internet speeds and it hardly works…. Plus they make u sign a contract to get their service. I think this is the 2nd review I’ve ever done through Google thats how bad my internet is.

I have had this service for 3 or 4 years. I live in the country near Bertram. I went to them in the beginning because it was the only service I could find where I could use zoom. It works for about 3 months and then it does not. I have to call and work with less than capable tech people who have me crawling under furniture to unplug things. Eventually they change my routing somehow and it is great for another 3 months and then it again, take 32 hours to send an 8 minute video so I start using my hotspot on my iphone which is just great. This month I ran out of hotspot time and called Western Broadband to fix the problem and it is the usual horrible experience. They do not listen they just talk over you and cannot help. I am soooo sick of them!!! Just want you to know this before you switch to them because it takes so long to switch back. I really do not remember the last time I have worked so long with a company that cares so little after they install.

Been a customer of Western for 6 years now, and a consumer of wireless internet for 14 years.Rural wireless ISPs can be pretty hit-or-miss. Some of them are just fundamentally bad (for example: Rise Broadband) and some of them are well run but they might have spotty coverage where you are, and/or old equipment - issues that can completely ruin your service.Western seems to be a fairly well-run company. FWIW I have only had to call Customer Service once or twice over the years, but each time they ended up resolving it to the best of their ability. My complaints are few but they do exist; their website looks like it was made as part of a high school computer class. Their prices are a LITTLE high for the bandwidth tiers they offer, although not unreasonable. And I really wish they had the equipment to support higher bandwidth tiers - the current highest being 15Mbps which isn't fantastic these days.

The ABSOLUTE worst internet I have had since dial up! I can't even stream a movie without pauses and buffering problems. Not only that, they charge $149 per month!!! The Customer Service lady (she says the only one who works sales) promises the world. When I called to cancel, she was short, borderline rude, very evasive and NON helpful. She played a word game and tit for tat. I am a Disabled Veteran and Law Enforcement Veteran from a HUGE Metropolitan City. I have never given a bad Yelp review like this, so that should speaks volumes about the validity. I highly recommend ANY service you can possibly find instead of them. There are several. Just call around like I did. Now I have 5 times the speed at half the price, super friendly installers who helped a ton, were honest about speeds and great Customer Service. Even AFTER install. Stay away from their Company, it's services and it's people at ALL costs!

My wife had the [pleasure] of handling our account with Western Broadband... Absolutely the worst costumer service experience! A previous conversation had transpired months prior to trying to end our plan and we were ensured the plan would end after our contract expired and we would no longer be charged if we did not renew.Instead of being helpful, Julia who, "has been with the company for 10+ years" would answer all of our question with, "well, did you read your service agreement?" Short of being helpful if feel this company is rude and unprofessional.

Manuel was awesome getting us all set up with Service in our barn. We are a nonprofit and will need to call the office as technically this is our 3rd Router and service for our Ranch: house, workshop and now barn. Hopefully they can help discount. Manuel however was very professional and got us up and going.
