Not sure why he would get negative reviews at all. He legit saved my life. I was having IBS pains from supplements a holistic doctor gave me. Dr Opella was the only one to say stop using so many supplements and my pains went away. I was scared I had IBS forever. He’s also very good at bedside manner for my anxiety (which yes I do have even before I saw him) he’s helping me with anemia as well: he always spends time To listen. Thank you! ❤️

This office is not very professional or respectful to patients at all. My daughter has been going there for her issues and all they do is refer her to specialists who can't find anything wrong with her. My daughter knows her body and there is something wrong with her. But all Dr. Opella keeps coming back with is anxiety and psychotic. Well, not everyone has anxiety or is psychotic. Maybe if you examine the patient you might find what is wrong with her. We have been to cardiologist, which was a joke and then a neurologist, (another joke), 2 rheumatoid arthritis doctors, and 1 of them charged her $250.00 and never examined her, and told her to watch a u tube video on fibromyalgia, another joke. Haven't heard from the other rheumatologist. But this is all Dr. Opella can come up with, he is just convinced that she is psychotic and has anxiety. So I wouldn't recommend Dr. Opella's office to anyone.Because everyone is psychotic and has anxiety. All doctors in SC have no respect for their patients and are very unprofessional. Now I know why some of the people I talk to here in SC go back to NY or NJ, or OHIO to see doctors. You have to go out of the state to get any answers. We will not be using Dr. Opella's office ever again.

So thankful to finally find a good doctor who takes good care of his patients. Excellent bedside manner and staying on top of everything to get and keep me healthy. I can’t thank him enough!! Highly Recommended!

Well, this office was amazing with Dr. Opella. He left in February and the new MD takes three times as long to refill meds. The office staff is GREAT but I'm unhappy now that Opella is gone.

My husband and I recently moved here and were searching for a doctor! So happy that we found Dr. Opella At Beaufort Memorial May River Primary Care! The entire staff upon our arrival was excellent. Dr. Opella spent so much time with us and made us feel like a person and not a number. He listened and gave excellent medical care. I would highly recommend Dr. Opella.

Hands down best experience I’ve had with a Doctor in a while. Staff was awesome, Dr Opella was quick but also really thorough and attentive to what I was saying. Great “bedside manner”. Informative but not condescending. Two thumbs up! But.. let me tell you about the team who handles refills and Rx’s. They went WAY above and beyond to get me my meds ON A WEEKEND no less! I needed that medicine immediately and instead of just not checking their messages, they not only sent the Rx in for me but they fixed a major dosing error. I could not have been happier with this entire office! Happy patient 100%! Thanks to everyone there!

This was awesome I finally found a Dr that cares and listens and he is very blunt and I like that, he didn't make me feel rushed I'm very happy with Dr. Christopher Opella and the staff was outstanding... If your looking for a good doctor with a great staff look no further... This one is great..

Great customer service, staff was exceptionally kind. Dr. was attentive and took the time to listen to my concerns, didn’t feel rushed and his bed aide manners were fantastic. Would recommend this office to everyone!

I have never had a doctor spend as much time listening and explaining everything to me. He was sure I understood every aspect of issue I came to see him for. His genuine concern and caring attitude and demeanor made me feel comfortable with him promptly. Thank you & I look forward to seeing the doctor again. The staff was also extremely professional and friendly.
