“The room and the breakfast service was great.
The really unpleasant thing was the elevator was not working. And the stairs to go up to our room were at opposite ends of the building. So for many people of our group - we had to carry our luggage to the furthermost end of the building, carry the luggage up two or three flights of stairs. Then carry the luggage back from the stairs to the room. Going to breakfast again was going to a workout on a stair-master gym.
My stay at the hotel was a workout.”

“I'm not writing to dismiss anyone else's concerns, but I really don't understand why there are so many bad reviews. My wife and I stayed here a few nights ago while driving through the area. The entire experience - from booking to check-out - was outstanding! Sabrina at the front desk was a real sweetheart...very warm and welcoming. The room was clean and in perfect order. And the little BBQ area/grotto was very, very nice.
Yes, the facilities are old. That's almost a given with on-base lodging in many places. That said, the place was spotless and the people made all the difference.
