“There are a lot of items, and it's surprising that even though the prices are cheap, the quality is incredibly good. They also sell seasonal items. For example, when I recently visited at the beginning of February, they already had items for sale for the Valentine's Day season. The staff here also provide good service.”

“I just wanted to say Thank You to Dai Dai Johnson at the Family Dollar on 9th across from FoodAuroma. That Employee went above and beyond for me as a Family Dollar customer and I was so grateful that Dai Dai helped me load my cash app for my 14 year old son would be able to buy a game pass for Rainbow 6 siege at midnight with the new season. I pulled up at 959 and he didn't shut the door on me , that Wonderful Young man was very kind and patient with a last minute customer. Here in Texas City you really don't find employees that are so much about the customer but at That family dollar they know who to hire because I have never been so impressed with the Mannerisms of Dai Dai and the other young man that was closes the store on Monday 6/9/2025. “The employees at this dollar general are just delightful! my pet prairie dog got into the rat poison and they rushed to my aid to resuscitate her and brought her back from the depths of the dark unknown. later some odd fella named brayden came in causing an issue and called MY precious prairie dog ugly and weird. they handled the situation very well and told him to leave. 10/10 would come back any day!”

“Good prices, cheaper on some cigarette brands $1. Items and good deals . Cheaper the other dollar stores except dollar tree. Pretty clean there with nice clerks. A lot of one dollar items. It's a pleasure doing business with them. Wear your mask or you will not be able to shop there.”

“I am visiting from Bedford TX. I am from Galveston. My best friend took me to this Dollar Tree. I wanted some bit of honey candy. The manager stopped stocking and went in the back bringing a box out. This manager is awesome ?”
“This store was extremely clean and all three ladies were super helpful. I went to this location after a terrible experience I had at the League City Pkwy location. My review for the is as follows: down the aisle where I was waiting and asked me if the young man had told me that they didn’t have it. I feel it was so quick that she didn’t look thoroughly, but that of course was an assumption. Then the two older women were having a conversation about “someone” told me they had inventory and twisted my words around because they clearly didn’t listen. The facial expressions they made were completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I didn’t hold back from pointing out their actions and behavior. One lady tried to apologize. She said she didn’t know I was talking to her and the other lady with the bandage on her wrist gave me the hand gesture as to shut me up. These women obviously take advantage of the young man on the register while they sit in the office complaining about the store instead of putting away inventory. Thankfully the 518 & 45 location had over 20 cartons. I purchased 4, but someone from Corporate needs to assess the League City Parkway location because that store is a mess! And those women complaining about the company probably need to retire.

“The next best thing to a large grocery store, only it's in your neighborhood. Dollar General has almost everything a grocery store has except for fresh meat & seafood. They have plenty of frozen items & fresh vegetables. It beats going all the way to a larger store.”

I'm at Dollar General now, after visiting the besieged Dollar Tree.And so far it seems that things will be better here.But no, exactly what I'm looking for is not there. In other words, it's enough to show them that among all the very extensive and well-stocked inventory of this mini Super Store, perhaps the ONLY thing it doesn't have is what I'm looking for: a garland that says "Happy New Year."The only thing I found was this purple ribbon that seems more appropriate for a Halloween.I will insist...(The photographs and videos that appear in this opinion have been taken by the person who signs this).”
