They try to up the prices for younger adults because they think we are stupid. That’s how I feel. One employee didn’t know the price of a used tire so he turned his back and asked someone else and they both turned their back and made up a price. So, I went to Walmart and got their tire for CHEAPER. It is what it is. Whatever

I’ve gone to Sofia Tire in Bacliff for all my tire needs, but they were closed so I tried Red’s Tire shop and boy.. what a disappointment!
After having the tire on there for 2 weeks and within days noticed my car shaking really bad. Took it to a mechanic thinking it was a bigger problem than what I found out to be a really bad tire with a HUGE lump in it that he was surprised didn’t blow out on me or cause a bigger issue than the car wobbling.
Let’s just say, I’m back at Sofia’s tire to change it because I can’t even trust going back to Red’s.
Edited to add a screenshot of my transaction since you “don’t remember.” And you made sure to tell us there were no refunds or warranty when we left so I’m not going to waste my time going back to argue with you over your mistake and I’m not going to get a replacement from a place that already screwed up. Thanks, but no thanks. I’ll post my review and take the tire as a loss.

I've always heard good things about red's tire shop and I know they have a good rating on Google. However this was not the experience I had. I installed the tire just fine but their prices were high and $10 more than Walmart. Also they didn't have a lot of stuff you would expect a tire shop to have for example they don't sell rims there I've never been to a tire shop that didn't sell rims. Also I have a lock on my entires it needs a special key to take them off most tire shops have these by the buckets of the last time I bought one from discount tire they literally had about 300 on site. But the biggest problem I encountered was the people were just downright rude and not friendly at all I mean they look like they want to just curse you out and why are you there it look like they're doing it only cuz they have to like they're miserable working there or something I don't know but I won't be going back there's plenty of places to get treated rude and if there's more expensive than the other places I'm not going to be paying more for somebody to be rude at me.
