Rancho Cortez is a beautiful dude ranch located in Bandera, Texas, the "Cowboy Capital of the World." It offers an amazing and wonderful experience for those wanting to escape busy life and enjoy total immersion in Texas. Guests can come for a day trip or stay overnight in rustic, quiet, and well-equipped cabins. The ranch provides many activities, making days very busy and memorable. These include trail rides and horseback riding, lasso lessons, feeding the longhorns and baby goats, carriage rides, and hiking trails. There is a refreshing swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and a large games room. Evenings feature campfires with s'mores and marshmallows under the stars, often with country music. Homecooked meals are balanced, sufficient, and shared with the ranch team and other travelers. The ranch also offers a dedicated fitness program with guided hikes, personal trainers, horseback workouts, water aerobics, and nutrition guidance for longer stays. The team is super nice, providing a kind and welcoming reception. Guests consistently recommend the ranch for its interesting daily life, incredible experiences, and the special memories created. It is a safe, quiet place, very suitable for children and for remaking the world.
The highlight was Linda’s cooking and friendliness! She accommodated my family by making excellent, 10/10 vegetarian food on the fly and was extremely kind.

Spent two wonderful nights at the ranch. One of the most memorable times of my life. It’s exactly what you need to escape the busyness of life.Special thanks to Travis for his kindness, commitment, company, lessons, stories…those are memories I truly treasure.
