“All these folks here leaving bad reviews, please go to Firestone, or Jiffy Lube, or better yet, hang out at a car show and a few swap meets so you can get your head on straight about how mechanic shops actually operate. Did you take a look around? Is there a sparkly lobby with free espresso and wi-fi? No.Is the parking lot freshly power washed and landscaped? No. There's not even an actual parking lot.This is what, in middle school English class we called "context clues"Take your fancy car and fancy expectations somewhere else and pay fancy prices too. Or calm down, and take a deep breath and namaste your mechanic needs. “The radiator on my 1997 Nissan Maxima leaked heavily when driving over the weekend. I got back home with no radiator fluid and fortunately didn't hurt the engine. I called Bastrop Mobile Mechanics and was happy that the repair could be done in my driveway. A new radiator and and hour's worth of labor did the trick. I am back up running again. I work from home so having the repair done in my driveway saved me having to take time off off work. “The oil change I brought my truck in for went Ok. I had an appointment and it took them almost 2 hours to perform the service.My big issue is the fact that I need to have a problem with the front camera on my Serria Denali truck fixed and the dealership say I have to leave my truck with then for at least a week so they can look at it. I think it is outrageous that I they want mr to leave it a week or longer to get service. I am seriously looking into finding some place other than the dealership where I purchased our last two vehicles to get the required service done.”

“The day after Thanksgiving in 11/25/2018 i traveled from San Antonio TX to Bastrop TX to buy a truck from Covert Chevrolet, it was a fast and easy experience and i loved my truck every minute i had it. Fast forward to today 7/19/23. About 2 weeks ago i went back to Covert to sell my truck, it was the same easy experience i had even though i was giving something i loved up this time. Lazarus the Sales Manager handled the whole deal from sart to finish and even above and beyond to the very end. This place i have only two experiences at 5 years apart almost and they were both great. Everyone was nice and helpful from phone calls from previsit to phone calls afterwards. When i buy my next Chevrolet I'll definitely return to Covert in Bastrop for another great car buying/selling experience! Buying a vehicle can be a headache but not at Covert Bastrop!”

They will even install used tires for you as long as those tires were manufactured within the last 2 years and are suitable for safe vehicular travel. Good luck getting discount tire to do that for you.”
