My brakes went out on my ram pickup. I had to spend the night in Bastrop. Barnard's tire and wheel took me in at 7:30 AM. Very professional service at a good price. Got me back on the road to my home 100 miles away. Thanks, Barnard Tire and Wheel.

I was recommended to Bernard's by a co-worker. I needed to have my tires rotated and balanced and a state inspection. While my car was there, they smelled fuel. My husband had noticed it prior, so I agreed for them to put a diagnostic test on it and sure enough they found something going on with my fuel pump! Very courteous, reasonable and I will go back!

3 hours before they closed they were completely swamped. Just needed a big screw removed from a brand new tire and then a hole plugged. Was holding a $50 bill folded up in my hand to tip out whomever helped me because honestly, I didn't want to do it myself. I was told, "we might be able to get to it tomorrow." They appeared to shun me and certainly didn't want to help the customer. I'm perplexed because they have such great reviews.

Dropped my car off around 7:30am for brake and tire check got a call around 6 saying my car was ready. I got off later that night walked to check up on my car and saw my door was unlocked for anyone to break in and steal whatever they want I just moved here from Houston I'm not coming back here no matter what, thats a mistake nobody working on that property should have made I would have checked to see if anyone else has unlocked doors but being a black man at night that would be a bad idea.

At first glance it seemed to be a trustworthy and humble establishment. But to no avail they have let me down. Charged me through the roof for simply putting on tires and doing a balance on them. SUPER OVERPRICED. When I went to pick my car up my car and the manager/owner was offensive and inconsiderate. Will not be going back or recommending to any of my friends.

Took my truck in for an alignment. They got it done correctly the first time. Could have been 5 stars if customer service did give me a look like they hate talking to customers..

I brought my work truck tire up here to get it patched. I said I would wait, Larry said it will be a couple hours that was at 2 PM. I never received a call so I called him. He said it was ready that was at 4:50pm. I never received any kind of call any kind of update anything from him I get up here thinking I can pick up my tire. It is totally locked down closed up no call no nothing, sorry service. No regard for another person having a to work.

still paying off the thousands of dollars this shop robbed from me. got a quote for 700$ and after calling daily for 2 weeks they said it was ready and charged 4grand (plus the reason i brought it in was still not fixed) never discussed a word and the owner just walked out and said he was just doing to keep the car. these people are all thieves. go anywhere else there's multiple garages on the same road but if you must get your work written down before they do anything to your vehicle.

Took about an hour and half for oil change. Only complaint is that because they couldn't put my truck on the lift because of my camper, they charged me double the labor charge but didn't tell me that beforehand, so at checkout the price was higher than expected.

I had a screw in my left rear outer dually tire. I bring truck in, gets fixed and I leave. I noticed my tire sensor said 88 PSI, when my door tag says it's supposed to be 65 PSI. So I bring truck back. I was told pull the truck up to the bay to get pressure adjusted. The original tire tech who fixed my flat, starts to tell me that he followed my door tag tire pressure and that my tire preesure can't be 88 PSI. I told him that he was mistaken and to look at the door tag again and tire preesure. So he looks at the tag and says, I put in 80 PSI because that's what the spare said. I was then expecting him to say I'm sorry, but nothing because I was correct. The counter gentleman was also helping the tire tech out and was already lowering my preesure. The tire tech ask his co-worker how much preesure did it have, with a reply of 88 PSI. So the tire tech says to me, "our air compressor doesn't go that hi". I said most air compressor go to 150 PSI. He says, "ours doesn't." The counter gentleman said nicely to me, "maybe our PSI regulator is bad" and I aggreed. At this time the tire tech gets mad at me and says, "you don't have to be a p****** I told him I'm not. Then he had a few curse words for me. The counter gentleman was shaking his head, knowing the employee shouldn't have acted out like this to me, a customer. Then I told the counter gentleman and this irate employee, "isn't the customer supposed to be right. So the irate tire tech told me to never come back and I never wants to see you here again. I ALSO WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW, HIS TIRE IRON USED TO PULL OFF TIRES DAMAGED/SCRATCHED MY CHROME RIM. These were brand new rims and tires 8 months ago and they never had damaged until now. Look at the picture of the fresh flat spot on edge of rim. I know this place is highly recommended and been around awhile, my company I work for use them. I'm assuming this guy was new to tires and lack of training. If your a dually owner, you know your valve stems are suppose to be rotated 180 degrees from each other. My truck came in the correct way and left with valve stems together. I'm assuming this guy was new to tires business and lacked propper training.
