Bastrop Auto Works was so knowledgeable and patient with the extended warranty company and made sure repairs were done as efficiently as possible! One problem turned into several and they were there to help support me, every step of the way! They are transparent and honest and will
do the most to help their customers! I will be going to them in the future for all car issues! Great business and wonderful people!!

I'm updating my initial review after a series of disappointing experiences. Over several visits, I spent thousands of dollars at this shop, yet the original problem I brought my car in for was never resolved. Parts also failed while the car was in their care, which I found highly suspicious. To top it off, they later gave me a diagnosis for urgent motor replacement for a different issue that a second opinion resolved.

This place is awesome! They knew I was stranded without my truck and they worked to get me back on the road in less than a day. When I walked in to pick up my truck, they all greeted me with a smile, introduced themselves, shook my hand, and explained the work they did. Great customer focus! What else can you ask for! I’m new to the area and now I’ve found my trusty mechanic!

They were great! My started needed to be replaced and my co worker's aunt worked there and recommended that I go there. They also told me that the leak I had was my water pump so it looks like I will be going back. They were also reasonable on price and much lower than where I had previously taken my car. My Dodge Charger has almost 200K miles on her, just need her to last at least another year! I'll be back!

Great shop. I called a local dealership when i had issues with my truck when traveling through Bastrop. They couldn’t fit me in for a couple of days but referred me to Bastrop Auto Works. Called them and spoke with Ben who told me come over and they’d see what they could do. Ten minutes after arriving they had diagnosed the issue and contacted the dealer to confirm parts were available. Two hours later I was back on the road ready to spend some quiet time at Bastrop Lake State Park. Thanks to Ben and Juan.

It's hard to find an auto shop that you can trust. These guys do great, dependable work and are honest. They will not over sell you. To me, no higher compliment can be given to an auto mechanic shop!
