I am very pleased with the repairs that were done to my car. You can’t tell where the damage was and the paint is perfectly matched. Not only do they do great work, they are great to work with. I was kept appraised of the progress of the repairs and had all of my questions answered promptly and courteously. The facility is clean and the staff are true professionals. And, my car was so clean when I picked it up, I hardly recognized it. I highly recommend them.Service: Body & Trim

I had major damage from rear end collision. Dawn did estimate and walked me thru the logistics. As they did initial work, they determined vehicle needed to be totaled. Both Dawn & Steve kept me updated as they worked with insurance company. They have done great repairs in past, and in this case I was extremely pleased with the effort they did to help me thru a loss. Still my #1 choice to use for(hopefully infrequent) repairs

Had to have body work after getting hit in a parking lot. Huge thanks to the team at Bastrop Body & Paint. Great communication from start to finish, a very accurate estimate and they worked directly with my insurance company which saved me so much time. The repairs were done on time (a day early even) and my truck looks amazing!It is always a pleasure to do business with folks that tell you what they are going to do, do it expertly and then explain everything once you are done. Dawn and the team were great with repairing my vehicle after an accident and keeping me informed of the repairs. The process did take a while due to the rarity of my vehicle, winter storm Uri and COVID related shipping delays but she looks and drives like new. Thank you!

Let me tell you a story about how a little auto shop made a bad insurance situation so much better: After being backed Into in the beginning of April, I worked with my insurance company and the insurance company of the other driver for about two weeks before I took my vehicle into Bastrop body and paint. I was greeted politely and told exactly what to expect in a timeline that was accurate from the get-go. I was greeted by Dawn who took a good look at my vehicle and did initial inspections to see which parts were needed for the repair. A series of events that were most likely of my own fault created a little confusion between who was going to pay for the repair. My insurance company was ready to go but we're offering a deductible which caused some confusion with the other drivers insurance company since both thought that the repair was going through them. Meanwhile, the vehicle was in the shop and fixed very quickly. I try to get information from the other drivers insurance company but they do a pretty substandard job of trying to explain what's going on. Carlos, the second representative at Bastrop Body Paint that I talked with explained everything to me in a clear and concise fashion. He listened, suggested fixes, and assured me that they would be with me to take care of anything that I need it within their power. Ultimately, Bastrop body and paint completed my vehicle and called me back to come and pick it up. According to Carlos, Bastrop body and paint has a policy of using OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) parts and will push back against insurance companies trying to get them to use often substandard after market parts. They even convinced the insurance company to allow them to use official parts. After all is said and done, they stayed immensely transparent about the repairs, assured me that they would work with insurance, did an absolutely amazing job or fixing the damage, and Steve (the owner), even met with me to apologize for the confusion that the insurance caused us. It wasn't even their fault and they took responsibility for making it the best possible outcome for me. I cannot stress enough how this has been the absolute best turn of a bad situation that I have experienced within a hundred miles of this place. Amazing Bastrop small business and an absolute gem. Thanks y'all!!

Highly recommend them for any body/paint work. They knew I didn't have a rental so they pushed my car to the front of the line without me asking. 10/10 would come here again! But hopefully I never have to... :D

Exceptional service. Carlos was friendly and helpful. My car was in and out in three days and looks great. They even vacuumed up the insane amount of dog hair I have been neglecting. Highly, highly recommend. Thanks so much for all you did.

We had someone hit the back end of our car recently, adding some cosmetic damage to our vehicle.Took our car to Steve and his team at Bastrop Body & Paint and that was the most smooth and stress free car experience we’ve ever had. He communicated directly with the insurance and got us all taken care of in such a short amount of time. He was clear in his communication, friendly in his approach and did a great job. I would definitely recommend Bastrop Body & Paint if you’re needing help with your vehicle.

Excellent. I live in Austin and still get my car done there after having work done prior there living in Bastrop. Very pleased with the body work that was done. I felt they were trustworthy which is important to me. Really nice and helpful. Car looks great.

Wow, never again. I just stopped by and the staff acted as if I was an interruption. The lady who came outside to "help" interrupted and responded based on assumptions rather than listening to the complete issue. There's plenty of other places that will actually want your business - why bother with this one?
