The quality of the care is above average for nursing homes. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The administrative staff is often out of their offices and out and about on the floor or in the dining room at mealtimes, and willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have. The activity director always has some kind of activities to keep the people active or making snacks or playing bingo. BUT the real winners here are the therapy department!! They work with the patients and get them to a point of being able to go home as soon as they can safely go after a short hospital stay, if they are there for rehab. The long term patients also get to work with them ongoing throughout the year to maintain their strength

My mom has been staying here for about 3 weeks, and since I visit every day I can say without exception that she has been treated with kindness and professionalism since day 1. She is completely comfortable there and all interactions from admissions to housekeeping are caring and pleasant. I feel good leaving her there at the end of the day knowing she is in safe and capable hands. I would definitely recommend Bastrop Lost Pines to anyone needing their services.

We chose this facility because he needed rehab after suffering a severe stroke. The therapy staff is excellent. They challenge him to do his best. Their personalities make it enjoyable. I have been impressed by the nursing staff. Their job isn't easy but they exhibit caring attitudes. There are activities available. Snacks come around, too. The facility is always clean and is a pleasant atmosphere. The admistrative staff have been very helpful when we have needed them. Kudos to all that work at Bastrop Lost Pines. We highly recommend this facility for your love ones.

I am giving this place a 5 star review for the level of service my grandma received by the Admissions Coordinator Amber Robinson. She has been amazing. There isn’t a perfect place out there, but she strives to make it the best! Thank you Amber for making my family yours ?❤️

Jocelyn is by far the best CNA on 100 hall! She goes above and beyond to not only take care of my mother here, but she has taken care of all the patients on this hall! I am so grateful for Jocelyn. It’s hard to have to put your loved one in a rehab as it is, it is a lot easier to do with people like Jocelyn taking care of my mother. Thank you Jocelyn for everything you do! It does not go unnoticed!!

My Mother is a resident at Bastrop Lost Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She moved in last year. The staff there has been wonderful! This was a very difficult time for us and the care and attention Mom has received has improved her health and mental state. Amber in admissions has been exceptional to work with as has Renee the business manager. I am so grateful for all they have done as well as everyone else at the facility. I had a job several years ago where I was in many nursing homes in North Texas (like over 70) and based on what I saw in all those facilities, Lost Pines is more than fully staffed. I was very impressed with the ratio of caregivers to patients. The facility is very clean, warm and safe environment for loved ones. Again I am so grateful for the care my Mother has received there. If you are considering Lost Pines for a loved one know that they will be in very good hands.Martyn Hafley

Well, I finally got my mom out of there to a place with adequate help before she suffered any more anxiety. She’s had more baths in one month than she received the whole year. The administrator kept the facility shut downIt most of the past two years. They never seem to have enough help especially during the week for bathing the residents. I have to sit up there until my mom receives a bath if she’s going to get one. However, the nursing staff is superb, they will even help bathe residents when short staffed. Especially, nurse Sheree and Britney. Also, the social director, Ray, must be their #1 employee, he is very kind and helpful.

What a journey, but I'm so happy with where we're at. My mom came to Lost Pines for rehab after a hospital stay and diagnosis of diastolic CHF. The beginning was rocky, to say the least, and I being mom's caretaker for so long am very intolerant of things not perfect for her. A facility of any kind will not have a 1:1caretaker-to-patientt ratio, so I had to realize this. Aside of the rocky start, I can't speak highly enough of those that are absolutely 5-star humans at Lost Pines. Amber the admissions director, Laney, Soriah, Claudia, Nathan, Donna, Dakota & Diana. Thank you, you all are shining stars and made all the difference. I have no doubt that in a year this will be a 5-star facility. You helped mom feel better about her having to be there, and made me feel better about her being away from home.

ZERO STARS - It's taken me 5 days to speak to anyone other than the receptionist to get an update on my brother! And I didn't reach anyone today until the 14th phone call. Asking for the nurses station is a lost cause, it rings 5 times and then you get a busy signal. No phones in the rooms, what is this a prison??? Guess they don't want anyone calling out either.

My mom has been at Lost Pines Rehab for 1 month. I've found the employees are wonderful! I have the most interaction with the Rehab team who go above calling. Shout out to Nathan, Steve & Donna for always taking time out to discuss my mom's progress. Another shout out to Mary Kate, Admissions Cordinator, and Sabrina, Social Worker, so kind and available to answer my questions.
