Honest people, I had an oil leak, I got my car checked by another garage they all asked for a higher amount. Bastrop Texas Mechanic (Main Owner) I am not sure about his name but he quoted a fair price. The day I came back to pick up my car he showed me the part that he replaced and asked for that part replacement price which was 60% lower than the amount we agreed. He could have easily asked me for that agreed price and I would have given because that was the deal, Instead, he showed his honesty rather than ripping me off. My oil pan was changed at a very fair price. Lots of respect and support for this place I highly recommend these honest people, good and clean work.

I live in Paris, TX and was in Bastrop visiting my son when my engine light came on. We had the truck tested and I call Texas Mechanic’s about 4:30 on Saturday afternoon. He check the truck said he could fix it then. He spoke with my son on the phone as to what part was needed. In less than 20 minutes I was on my way to spend time with my grandchildren.
The gentleman that fixed the truck was so kind and caring. Great place if you need Quality work done.

They helped me with an emergency on an early Saturday morning. I called, and they came in early instead of waiting until after they ate breakfast. They diagnosed the issue in minutes and had me back on the road within an hour!

Great mechanic shop. I had them take care of the new brake pad and rotors for my Lexus GS350 and they did it to a satisfactory quality. Their service was good too! I will be returning to this establishment for future auto repair needs. Thank you Luis and team.

They helped me out with my water pump and thermometer. They were great and got my vehicle back to me same day, on a weekend day at that. The guy doing the work was nice and very upfront on what needed to be done and the price was far better than if I had taken my vehicle somewhere else.

Neverrrr never will I EVERRR go back to this place!!! If it weren’t for that ONE SINGLE SO CALLED EMPLOYEE I a would of had stayed there and looked for a way to bring up more money, but because of that one RUDE guy is why they took off everything and put everything how it was and sure did get my refund! Me personally idc how much the job is YOU WERE GETTING PAID!!! But because of your a$$ho13 way of being is why I did what I did and just how he put the money in his wallet, THE MONEYI had paid him, came right back out!!!I really don’t recommend this place if I could put no stars I would!! There’s one more little brown than the other rude SOB but that other guy if he could open his own business he should!I left there so aggravated cus of that one guy and caused me to yell at this poor gentleman. Like I said I WILL NEVER GO THERE!!! They should NOT HIRE those type of rude guys!Service: Steering & suspension repair
