My cousin kept up every single month on his chain, never missed a payment, never even got a reminder or warning from them. Somehow, they decided to take it out of his account and put it back up for sale. That doesn’t “just happen.” Somebody working there clearly made that decision.
Sounds like they’re doing side deals or giving certain people first picks on items they want. And when confronted? Zero accountability. No fix. Just a refund and a shrug.
If you value your things, avoid this pawn shop. You can do everything right and they’ll still take your stuff and resell it.

They Don’t Respect Their Own Contracts!
My brother had a chain pawned here and was never late on a payment. Yet somehow, the pawn shop “lost track” and sold his item to someone else. How do you sell something that’s fully paid up? This tells me they’re either completely disorganized or playing favorites with certain customers behind the scenes. Either way, it’s unacceptable. When he tried to resolve it, they acted like it wasn’t a big deal. Offering a refund doesn’t fix the fact that they broke their own agreement and took something that wasn’t theirs to take. I wouldn’t trust them with anything valuable. If they did it to him while he was absolutely current on payments, they can do it to anyone.

They straight up STOLE his chain
I’m not even the one who pawned something here, but I watched this situation happen to my friend and it blew my mind. He literally paid every single month on time for his chain no gaps, no missed payments, nothing. Then one day he goes in and they tell him it’s gone. Not overdue. Not forfeited. Gone. Sold.
How does that happen unless someone inside decided to pull something shady? You don’t accidentally sell an item that’s fully paid up and on an active loan. That’s not a mistake, that’s straight up stealing from a customer who followed every rule.
They didn’t try to fix anything either. No effort to contact the buyer, no accountability, no investigation. Just, we can refund you. That’s not a solution you can’t replace someone’s personal item with a half hearted apology and a refund.
If they can do this to a paying customer with proof of every payment, they can do it to anybody who walks through the door. This shop is not trustworthy, and I’d stay far away if you value your belongings.

This place is shady they sold my son’s chain illegally.
I’m writing this because my son has been paying every single month on time for his chain. There was no lapse, no late payments, nothing. Yet this pawn shop decided to take it, put it back for sale, and give it to someone else. That is not a mistake that is dishonest business. When he went in to find out what happened, nobody took responsibility. No manager stepping up, no attempt to track down the item, nothing but here’s your money back. That’s not how you treat customers who follow the rules.
I’ll never recommend this shop to anyone in my family or community. Too many pawn shops already have bad reputations this one just proved the stereotype right.

They SOLD My Item Even Though I Paid Every Month Beware!
I’ve never dealt with a pawn shop as unprofessional and shady as this one. I had a chain pawned with them, and I’ve paid EVERY single month on time — I literally have the receipts to prove it. Out of nowhere, without calling me, texting me, emailing me, NOTHING… they just took my item, put it back out on display, and sold it to someone else.
How is that even possible when my payments were current? Who are they giving special treatment to? It really feels like somebody on the inside held my item for a friend or a “preferred customer” and decided my payments didn’t matter.
When I confronted them, they didn’t care at all. No apology, no accountability, no effort to fix their own mistake just, “we can give you your money back.” But I didn’t want the money. I wanted my chain, the same one they illegally sold behind my back even though I kept my end of the agreement.
If this is how they treat paying customers, imagine what they’ll do when nobody is watching. I’m warning everyone: be careful doing business here, because even if you keep up with your payments, they can still take your stuff and claim nothing can be done. My whole family is posting their experiences too so people know what’s going on.

Wouldn’t recommend the manager took $65 off my card and said he didn’t when I called Chase there’s no record of a refund just them successfully taken $65 off my card and all of a sudden I can’t have my money back so I would not recommend anybody coming here, their thieves. And also, I was getting my computer back and when I got it back it has a broken screen, but when I brought it to them, it was NOT broken. So now they took 65$ dollars and broke my computer screen.
