I recently met employees, Tina Longoria and Brittany Rogers. What great women to represent this company because before them, I didn’t know this bank existed. Such classy and extremely helpful women. We’d highly recommend giving either of them a call. They’ve gone above and beyond to make us feel special.

Opened a simple checking account with them. The folks were very nice. As I sat there opening the account, several regular customers entered the bank and were greeted by name. It seems like a good place to do my banking.

I told the teller I just arrived in Texas this AM and although I didn’t have an account could she break a $100 bill. She and the tall gentleman behind her said no. I asked Again out of surprise, NOPE. sarcastically I thanked them for their southern hospitality and left.

Liars and Deceivers. Go "ANYWHERE ELSE" than Classic Bank. My Story... I go in to Classic Bank and talk to Amberley Palmer (Assistant Vice President) about opening 2 Business Checking Accounts. But I told her "Specifically" before I would open an Account I needed RDC (Remote Deposit Capture), to which she said they "did" offer it to their Business Customers and so I said "OK" and opened my 2 Accounts. While opening the Accounts, she even called the Classic Bank RDC Department to ensure it was available and would be at No Cost. After about an Hour, the Accounts were Opened and I was told that "within a couple of days", the RDC Person (Miranda) would be contacting me to come by and Install it. Days came and went, I had "Other Issues" with the Accounts (which were resolved) and each time, I would ask "where is my RDC?". Each time, I was told a Couple of Days. Finally, after I spent $100s of ordering all my Business Checks and Deposit Slips (two weeks later), Amberley said she would come by and "pick up the Checks" that "should have been" RDC'd before the Close of the Month (which had already passed). And she would be bringing by some papers for me to sign so I could be Approved for the RDC. OK, no problem. She picked up my Checks for Deposit and had me Sign the Papers. Getting my RDC Late, but better than Never, huh? So then she left - and after the Bank Closed, Miranda (RDC Department) called and told me I would not be getting my RDC as promised. So I called Amberley (the Bank Assistant Vice President) the next morning (when the Bank Opened) and told her to call the RDC Department and have them provide me with RDC. She "then" said... I told you we "offer" RDC to our Business Customers in the Beginning. I never said "you would get it". Then she said the papers I signed were for Approval for the RDC. That didn't mean I would get it. Needless to say, I was "HOT". Interestingly enough the Miranda's Supervisor called and I asked him... Did you call to tell me it was "not" Classic Bank's Policy to Lie and Deceive their Customers by telling them whatever it took to do Business with them. He said "No" and so I hung up. Now I just got Word from Amberley... Because I was Dissatisfied with their Lies and Deceit, they were going to Close my Accounts. I was Incredulous. I told her I had already spent $100s on Bank Supplies and just to "Leave my Account Alone". She said "No" and I could either have her mail me a "Cashier's Check" - or I could come by and pick it up. Really? Because a Customer is Angry for you Blatantly Lying and Deceiving them, your (Classic Bank's) Remedy is to Close the Accounts of the Person you Lied to and Deceived? Really? I was willing to "let things go" and just Deal with the Crooks. But now, they've gone "a Bridge too Far". In closing... Maybe (maybe) they don't screw over their "Personal Account" Customers. Probably not, but maybe. But if you're looking for a Bank to do Business with... Stay "FAR AWAY" from Classic Bank. And not just the Bastrop, TX one. The RDC Division handles "all" Branches - and the Supervisor made it Clear that it's the Policy of Classic Bank (in general) to Lie and Deceive their Customers to get their Business. And if you go to the Bastrop, TX Branch. Steer Clear of Amberley Palmer. She has now "Proven" she will Lie and Deceive anyone to get their Business. And if you don't like that she's Lied and Deceived you, she will simply "Close your Account(s)" so she does not have to "Face" those that caught her. And BTW... She made it Clear, the Bank President is no different than she is. One last thing... This is a "Brief Description" of the Affair - and - they said "So Sad, So Sorry" about the $100s I spent on my Bank Account Supplies. I'm just SOL and wil

Loving our new bank. Went in today because we needed cash to pay for firewood tomorrow, since we only had a business account there I asked if they could cash our check from a different bank, and they helped me. Then even though it was closing time they very sweetly, patiently opened a personal account for me. I needed one and they happily offered to take the time to help. Free checking for real and free savings plus they give a gift with a new account! I didn't know banks were still cool like that!
