We had a great time at the pumpkin patch. They have made great improvements to the outdoor area. Plenty of fun to entertain kids.

This was our second year attending the Community Gardens Pumkpin Patch! I'd argue it was even better than last year. We started at the Chapala Sunday brunch buffet, which was delicious. Then we toodled around the pumpkins. There were plenty of cute family photo ops and lots of activities for the kids. This event is geared for all ages, our toddler had a great time on the play grounds while I sat with my infant on the couches in the shade. They even had the folks from Jeremiah's Ice out serving tasty treats for cheap. Overall a lovely experience, we will definitely come back next year.

Great down home atmosphere. Good food. We had a gathering of around 80 people. They accommodated us well, made for a comfortable meeting and provided the necessary technology (TV, sound, etc).

Weekly events for homeschoolers and native plants galore. Staff is always willing to help answer any gardening questions you have. I have not tried the attached restaurant.

Great selection of native plants and reasonable prices. They are also quick to respond online with any questions you may have.
The kids play area is a hit with our 2 year old and they also hold regular events for the community.
Basically it’s not hard to leave with a car full of plants and a worn out toddler!

Must stop and visit! Healthy plants. Natives. Be sure to ask for William! His knowledge and and ease of explanation of plants is remarkable. He love ms to chat about plants. Very informative! Thank you. I’ll look forward to my next visit!

Stopped by the nursery to get more soil, the young man who was there was soo knowledge and helpful! Truly helped us understand what needed. Supporting local and will return for future plant needs :)

I stopped by this place for the first time today and it was amazing. It was during their half off plant sale, which was fantastic. I absolutely loved the staff. William was wonderful. He showed me plant by plant giving me all the information I needed to help with my new garden. I will be back 💚💚

The nursery here has really upped its game in recent years. Much more extensive inventory than the last time we visited. William and the entire nursery team are fantastic. He shared SO much helpful knowledge regarding their offerings and what might work well for the specific goals of our gardening project. He could have easily sold us on some more of their pricey options, but amazingly steered us to items that would work better for our site. New inventory seems to be arriving regularly. Reasonable/competitive pricing compared to other destination nurseries just outside of Austin. Also, the membership program and the discount it garners is a no-brainer at $5/mo (and less). The post-shopping $5 Patio Marg at the Casa Chapala on site makes for a fantastic end to this gardening excursion. 10/10, will be back!
