It’s decent. No horrible happenstances. No fantastic ones either. It’s a pretty normal CVS- what you would expect.

I love this place. They are so kind and helpful every time I come. When they have an issue, they reach out as soon as it's noticed. I really like this because it fixes any problems and usually keeps me from waiting long periods of time in line for nothing. Also, when I don't feel like coming to pick it up or can't, I have the option to get it mailed, and it arrives in about a day or two. I don't like but understand that they become so busy that things appear to be done slowly, but I know that they are working hard because you can see it while you wait.

I don't mind the asking for my birth date 3 times, that's fine. But, staff not wearing ppe at the register is a HUGE LETDOWN. Huge! Saddens me but I'll be ok. Just didn't plan on potential plague cooties. Let's keep those makes up when with customers, please. For our sake and yours.

Unsolicited phone call from Armond an employee of this pharmacy. When asked why he was calling me on a Sunday about a flushot he told me if I didn't want their calls I should ignore them and then he hung up. I must assume that my personal information provided to this pharmacy is not confidential and they can use at their will.

I really don't know where to start and I cannot believe the conversation I just had on the phone with the pharmacist. Let me start by saying my husband is a stage IV cancer patient who is currently receiving chemo. That means he is at greater risk of contracting anything going around. I have never been able to get a prescription filled without walking in and standing on line. I completely understand that a pharmacy may feel the need to be prudent given the large number of meds that probably go unclaimed. So last week on our way back from San Antonio, where we receive his chemo treatments, I called when we were an hour out...it was going to be late and i knew my husband would not feel like waiting, but it was critical that we pick up his meds before going home. Was the prescription ready? No, it was not. Today, he needed nausea meds because he had picked up a viral infection being out in public or due to me being out and bringing it home. I called early and was assured it would be ready in an hour. I waited 2 hours before calling again and was told they would NOT fill his meds until I was physically present in the store. I explained my situation, but stayed on the phone another 15 minutes while the pharmacist explained to me why he didn't have the time to do it and wouldn't do it until I walked into the store. Really? I ended by telling him he could have filled it in the time he spent arguing with me. I do not understand nor can I comprehend why it would be the policy of CVS to only fill a prescription when the customer is present, and when presented with the facts they refused to do otherwise. The pharmacist even gave my the 1-800 number, assured that he was following protocols. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! This is NOT the Bastrop customer service I am used to in our town!!

I've waited 50 minutes now for prescriptions called in by my physician, and the pharmacist just said five more minutes. These were called in hours ago. I don't think I could be any more annoyed. This is the exact reason I prefer my Walgreens, but my new insurance mandates CVS. If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. Use Walgreens if you can! (Unless, of course, you enjoy dying in line).

I’ve used this CVS for years. Primarily the pharmacy. I’ve always found the techs to be friendly and courteous. Whenever an issue rose up with my insurance they were quick to help me solve it. For those medications that my insurance didn’t cover, they would suggest the best drug card to use to get me the lowest price. Highly recommended.
