I decided to get a carwash after getting gas, about 2 weeks ago and the brush took my rail off the top of my car. Ripped it off? still haven't heard back from anyone about the damages done.

Very impressed with their entrance operation! During this pandemic, they went the extra mile to keep everyone safe by supplying hand sanitizer before entering the store and cleaning each cart before giving them to customers. Staff was professional and very friendly! Rare I write a review, but they deserve it. Good work HEB humans! A+++

Visited this HEB for the first time a couple of days ago, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at how chill and well handled the store was. Grocery shopping is even more of a chore now, thanks to that downplayed, horrible a**, ridiculously ill-handled PANDEMIC. But the friendly & professional staff made things great! The store was quite stocked, actually. Of course, there were a few empty shelves (no rice and no half and half) but understandably so. So thanks, HEB employees at Bastrop. Y'all made my 5th Covid19 grocery run a little less lame... A LOT less, actually!

H-E-B has always been my go to place for fresh vegetables but going here during the Coronavirus crisis gave me an even more positive outlook on H-E-B ... having just come from Walmart which had a big empty jug of hand sanitizer by the entrance and no wipes , Coming into H-E-B was like entering a different world.. employees were outside handing out wipes and advising customers to wipe down their cart ... as you went in, an employee was there with a bottle of hand sanitizer ready to squirt on your hands ..,and inside , employees were wiping down the checkout stations ( every hour I was told ) .. now that's gold customer service .. it surely shows that H-E-B cares about their customers while Walmart constantly is thinking how to cut costs and make that extra dollar .. I salute you H-E-B .. great job ., you've raised the bar on customer service, hopefully other stores will learn from you !

I went to this grocery store today (in the midst of the Corona chaos), and every HEB employee was super friendly. You could tell it had been a mad house all morning-shelves were cleared of stock up essentials, everyone looked a little frazzled, etc. At least three people greeted me and asked me how my day was. Two of the restockers had a funny conversation with me. The woman managing the insane register lines was professional and handled the crowds like a boss. Way to go, HEB!

Pharmacy is the slowest one I've ever been to. I live in College Station where there are a LOT more people but they are FASTER than this Bastrop location. -I have waited for over 30+ minutes before in line to get meds through the drive thru but there were only 5 people ahead of me that have been sitting there the WHOLE time with me. RIDICULOUS! The store management is AWFUL, especially if you try to use coupons. They CRITICIZE you and will stare you down the WHOLE time you are in the store the second you walk in if you are 'known' for using coupons. They make me and my family feel very unwelcome and frustrated. We spend A LOT of money here almost weekly but yet they treat us like complete crap. They NEVER have enough checkers so be prepared to wait FOREVER to check out. If you try self-check be prepared for TONS of issues. It's really frustrating because I can compare this store to how the College Station/Bryan stores are. This store comes in absolute last place! I hate it.

My all time favorite HEB is the # 2 store at Oltorf and S. Congress in Austin. It's smaller but I could shop it blind as long as I knew what isle I was in. Besides I am a 78704 boy through and through. I still get all prescriptions filled there since all 3 of my doctors work on James Casey. 2 in the same building even. All 3 know each other well. Lucky me. Events happened where I now live 8 miles from Bastrop. I've been slow to make buddies with the store but must say the newer version exceeds the older one by eons. I read most of the reviews posted here and some apply to old version only. The flower shop gets the most bad press but I've found them affable but never bought a single flower. They just made the store better with the new 12 self check outs area. Being an army of one my shopping list is usually short. I still don't know where everything is but getting there. And yes I also couldn't find the half and half until I looked behind me in milk section. They have a great health food section, beer and wine, plus carry the new sativa sweetened Cokes since being a label reader I avoid anything with corn syrup/fructose. Lots of specialty products enhance the overall appeal. The store always seems to be in the stages of improving. I am opposed to the very idea of WalMart and only get RV supplies there so this H-E-B is better than most in Austin and you don't have the vehicle traffic that spoils going back into there. Bastrop is growing but still kind of "we're here because we're not all here" if you catch my drift. Most of the folks are pretty friendly, shoppers and workers, then those you know by site just to avoid. It's not Central Market but what is. The more I go the more my happiness meter rises. It's a good store getting better. I put most complaints I read down to the quibble department except the person who got into it by challenging a hot head because he had more than 15 items. Visually this could been avoided by letting the guy do it his way and be gone. The security issues raised seem to be self inflicted by issuing the original challenge. This isn't the airport nor do they have an armed guard posted. Just little ole' Bastrop doing a city sized job. They get my one vote - independent. Yes it's 5:30 A.M. now and I am so excited by all the reviews I plan to be there by opening just for a different perspective. Without the HEB Bastrop would be the way smaller place it really is. Count your blessings. Oh yes, I love there is a Spec's.

waited in line for 40 minutes. cheapest wash was $10 (more than I wanted to spend but I couldn't see the sign from the back of the line). Once in line, you can't get out and have to go through with it. The wash was barely decent and knocked the side mirror cover off of my right side mirror. 10/10 will sue.

Just moved to Bastrop and wasn't sure what to expect from the HEB. Just as good as any I've shopped at in Austin, actually better because all my favorite vegan products are always available. Thrilled! And it's never really very busy. Can't complain. Good experience with the curbside pickup too.

I think everyone needs to know this, so it's going to be short and sweet. It looks like my car went through a wind tunnel and sand was swirling around in there. A very dirty truck must have gone through, and the rollers are supposed to be frequently cleaned, but this one isn't, and there is no car wash attendent there. I can't go back and change the past, but I can let others know. I asked my boyfriend, "How do people get away with this?" And he said it's because most people don't notice right away, and do a week later like I did, and it's hard to prove. He told me that's why people who really care about their cars either wash it themselves, or take it to a self-car wash. The only decent car wash is the new one by the boot shop, but still, beware with the drive-through rollars. It only takes one time.

Have all day? Then by all means come to this car wash. But if you'd like to spend less than forever in line waiting just to get into the bay, go elsewhere.

This is probably the worst car wash I have seen, first and last visit, not only my car has numerous soap spots but also multiple scratches .

The carwash needs to be serviced. If you get the ultimate car wash like I did today the underbody carriage wash and the pre-soak is not working. However the nice lady at the booth did give me a refund
