Asked the pharmacist about meds with totally different active ingredients for same condition and he couldn't tell me the difference. Seriously? Walgreens from this point forward.

I’ve been so sick and getting insurance to come meds has been a pain. But yesterday Thursday morning my DR. sent a prescription in and I called Friday afternoon because I hadn’t heard anything from the pharmacy for them to tell me they sent it back. It would have been nice to know this sooner. Now it’s Friday and the office is closed until Monday. This was actually the last straw. This pharmacy is the worse! Highly recommend going elsewhere

I have mixed emotions for this pharmacy. The staff is generally very nice, I don't have issues with them. Its the pharmacy environment. Y'all's drive-thru needs a serious expansion. I know inside will be dealt with for ROOM and STAFF (i hope)...but.. I really hope drive-thru is part of the current expansion going on, too. And to always have only one lane operable, day after day...is sad. You can maybe fit 4-5 cars per lane and its so backed up now that cars are wrapping around in that tiny area (like what happens when Starbucks is busy-but they can fit more cars). As we know..BTX is growing sooooo fast...and this HEB is too small. The parking lot expansion that took our blue bonnets, hasn't helped too much nowadays. When my scripts are ready, I have waited up to 5 days...to P-UP my meds...because i dont have 30+ minutes to wait. At any time of day. And I'm trying to pick up my inhalers, to BREATHE. So... I appreciate all HEB stores, but holy heck the pharmacy sector is massively declining. 🙁 We pay good $$ for our medications. I am a patient person, but goodness. Does the entirety of Bastrop need to make a fricken petition for this pharmacy to help its people? 🙁❤️ We are the reasons your stores thrive and stay alive. Help us reach the same goals please! One day, or day one...you decide.

Usually I don't have problems with this pharmacy except for the long lines and trying to figure what to do with my cart. Yesterday however, I went to pick up a prescription for my daughter and had a terrible experience. The line moved well but when I get to the front I had to repeat my daughter's date of birth three times to get the person to understand. Then when she brings me the prescription I asked if it was the brand name of the medicine and she just shoved the package at me. The name on the package was not the brand name so I asked if that was the generic form of what I was asking for and her expression said she had no idea nor did she move as if to ask someone. I had to look it up on my phone myself a quick thing but why am I having to lookup meds at a pharmacy? Isn't that the pharmacy staff's job? I hope the HEB is amazing when the construction is done because right now quality is dropping fast.

This is the second time I went to this pharmacy to get prescription refilled. First time they texted me and said it was filled. Arrived and it wasn’t ready.
Second time received a text that the refill was ready. Called to confirm prescription. Wanted to make sure it was the correct dosage. Told them I was going to call doctor to confirm prescription. Called back and said it was correct. THEY PUT IT BACK !!!! I told them my wife is on her way to pickup. They said there is a long time to fill refills. Called back and asked for the person in charge and was disconnected

I’ve used a few different pharmacies in the past, but this one definitely takes the cake for being the worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. Extremely long wait times, sometimes even up to an hour. They’re oftentimes late filling prescriptions, up to two days late. There are hardly ever more than three employees working at a time. This has clearly been an issue for YEARS judging by the reviews and yet nothing has been done about it despite their responses saying it’s being reviewed. Stay far away from this pharmacy, it’s worth the extra $5/month to just go to Walmart instead.

The only time you can get your meds without a HUGE line inside and out is first thing in the morning. So be there at 8AM when they open, or you're going to wait 30 mins or more to pick something up. The pharmacists are GREAT, but theres not enough of them working at once! This pharmacy isn't set up to manage the amount of people that need it.

This has to be the WORST pharmacy I've ever used. They waist your time telling you your script will be ready in 30 min so we waited 3 hours and waited in line 40 min and it still was not ready so they told us to get out of line and come back around and it would be ready so we went and had dinner and went back and still was not ready so returned this morning after trying to call for 45 min with no answer and arrive to be told it was still not ready and to come back in 30 min so we left ran an errand came back waited in line again only to be told it is still not ready and now they can only give us 30 of a 90 fill and that would take another 40 min to fill and the pharmacist complained that she would have to run the script again because of the short amount would alter my refill as if this is my problem and not their problem so now my husband is on day 3 without his pain meds and heb has once again abandoned their patients leaving them without meds that are needed and without compassion. Please save yourself the time and trouble and use another pharmacy. Bastrop Medicine Shop i have discovered us amazing, caring , compassionate and always have my scripts ready when they tell me they will be ready. HEB PHARMACY IS HORRIBLE AND RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL

I have been to this place 3 separate times to pick up my meds and each time I waited in line for 30 + minutes and there is always an issue. Here I am 2 weeks later and still no freaking meds. They tried to lie and tell me they put it back because of non pick up but I attempted to pick them up the last time I went grocery shopping which was less than a week ago and they told me my meds were not ready AGAIN. Why were they put back if it had not even been 10 days from the last time I attempted to pick them up. So much bullshit and then for online grocery pick up I'm either always missing items OR it takes them an hour to bring my groceries out. I gave up shopping in store since they are always moving grocery items around and it makes it hard to find anything. Literally the worst HEB ever. I hate that this is the only one in my area. Do better HEB

Waited in drive through line for over 30 minutes to pick up 2 prescriptions made by the ER 24 hours before and my prescriptions were still not ready for pick up. Dealing with the craziness inside and traffic jams outside at this HEB is not something I care to go through again, will most likely have prescriptions moved. Not happy about my wasted time and gas on trip to town for meds that should have been ready by now!!

Be ready to wait in line for over 30 minutes through the drive-through or in store. The cashiers in the pharmacy are not personable at all!
