I was really disappointed with my experience there. I didn't want to get color after all, because I wanted to give my nails a break and just get a manicure, but the young girl working left them crooked. She charged me $47 dollars just for a manicure. That's a bit steep for this single lady. I thought she made a mistake, but that's what was charged. It was a dull experience, because the girl didn't say much. No conversation at all.

Had a lovely time having my nails done today with Pennelapea. My nails look great, I highly recommend this place. My favorite place to have my nails done ?? Thank you Pennelapea, I definitely will be coming back.

Cute place! This was the most informative mani/pedi I’ve ever received. Sam was so kind and helpful. She showed me what I can do to improve my foot health, but wasn’t preachy about it. I very much appreciated her advice and look forward to booking with her again in the future. The chairs at the manicure tables are a little uncomfortable if you’re short legged (you sink in the chair and your feet don’t touch the floor, which put my legs to sleep). The salon was very clean! Sam even walked me through their cleaning process when she found out that’s why I left my last salon.

Loved this place. Nice and quiet atmosphere. Mani and pedis. They do overlays but no acrylic which was nice. I just needed a nice clean up.

I’ve gotten 2 Dip Gel manicures by Sam and I’ve loved it both times. She is a perfectionist. It’s a bit pricier than some places around but you definitely get your money’s worth.

Sam is hands-down the Queen of Dip Gel Nails! I wasn’t a fan of “dip” since it made my nails thick/heavy, but Sam is meticulous and detail oriented and ensures that my nails are perfect and feel right. Her pour over method also ensures a more sanitary process. My nails don’t chip or peel off and are longer and healthier than ever!

My first time at a nail salon like this an let me tell you I was so impressed they also took great care of my 7yr old ! I wasn't rushed and I was educated on how the their process was different from all the other nail services around town. I really enjoyed getting to know the ladies here and the nail art work is out of this world and the adult beverages are a plus !

Love this place! An absolutely amazing hidden gem in Bastrop. It doesn't smell terrible, it's calm and relaxing. The ladies are all amazing at what they do and for me, it's the promotion of good nail health versus rushing through their clients. They take their time and they do nail art!

What a gem to find! Was looking to get a pedicure in Bastrop and saw the already great reviews so decided to check it out. The ladies in there were so friendly, they did an excellent job, and my friend and I got complimentary margaritas while we were relaxing. Will be returning!

Worst manicure ever. The "dazzle" did not work for me and started peeling off after 2 days, and when they re-did it, the results were again ugly, peeling polish. Regret wasting my money. Do not recommend.

The place is awesome! Relaxing ! Love that an appointment means an appointment! Kathie is my go to and she is awesome! She genuinely cares and I am a person with diabetes and she totally gets it. I have no fear with my pedicure! So happy this place is here in Bastrop! Love it!

Mother Daughter Date Night was PHENOMENAL thanks to Penny and Sam! Our pedicures were flawless and we already booked a Pumpkin Pie Pedicure for next time. My daughter said this will be our forever place :)
