Dr. Dougherty is so attentive and very quick to respond to medical questions and needs. A valuable service in the world of net work medicine where you never are sure when you can get an appointment with your doctor etc. etc..

Dr. Dougherty and his team are amazing! Dr. Dougherty is exremely caring and compassionate. I am grateful to have a PCP that I completely trust with my health. I have been a patient of Dr. Dougherty's for a few years and the office consistently goes the extra the extra mile with their care!

I work in the medical field and meet with hundreds if not thousands of physicians. I’ll be honest, my family and I have bounced around trying to find the perfect physician. When your little ones are involved, you seem to look into a lot more about the doctor. Everyone wants their kids to have a good doctor that takes the time to check them over 100%. Bastrop is so incredibly blessed to have a physician like Dr. Dougherty in this town. He is a world class physician, takes the time to listen, even play with the kids in their amazing pediatric exam room with toys and trains before he examines them. My boys (2yr and 3yr) have never felt so comfortable with a doctor like they do with Dr. D. My wife and I are also a patient. He will do everything in his power to make you 100% and his staff is always smiling and so welcoming when we walk in. You literally cannot find a better physician in any of the big cities. If you are reading this, GO VISIT DR. D. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! Thank you Dr. D and staff for loving and caring for my family just like we are your own. Will never go anywhere else again.

How do I even begin to leave a review for Dr. Doughtery and Genesis. This amazing doctor has literally saved my life. My diabetes was so out of control and I had almost thrown in the towel. I did not know what to do. Dr. Doughtery stepped in and turned things completely around for me. He really spent time with me and listened to my problems and all my symptoms. Our family has been waiting for days to hear back from this person. Staff have notified him on more than one occasion and he simply cannot be bothered. A lack of responsiveness is not uncommon for him. Take a look at the other 1 star reviews before trusting this person.
