7 times I have called this walmart to see if they have a a certain tire size for my wife's car. No one picks up, after about 3 min listening to their lousy music it hangs up on me. I call back and no help from anyone. They get paid to play on their cell phones and we bag our groceries. Very unprofessional...so if lazy people who don't care about their customers need a job where they get paid for nothing this is the place for you

Just like any other walmart. They have only two actual cashiers and force everybody else to use self-checkouts. I'm not a free cashier for walmart.

I always go through the checker when I have a lot of items. The last 3 times the checker hasn’t given me all my bags. Very frustrating to have to go back to re- purchase the items I already paid for.

Dont every purchase anything online from this store, the employees are to lazy to fill the order and will say its a fraud purchase!! Then it takes up to 10 days to get your money back on your credit card. Use amazon and stay clear from walmart Bastrop and online.

I spoke with customer support on Oct 20th as I had ordered tires on Oct 4th and was suppose to have them installed on the 10th. My appointment was cancelled by the tire center and was told they were delayed. He told me he was calling the tire department of the store I was suppose to have the tires installed at ( Bastrop TX ). I was put on hold then the Bastrop store answered and when I told them what I needed they hung up on me. I called the store back directly and was told the tires were there. When I went to pick them up the manager asked if I wanted them installed. I asked how long it would take as there was only one car being worked on at the time and 3 technicians sitting outside smoking . He told me about an hour and I said ok. The associate that was standing there next to him told him they were busy and couldn't do them. I asked why when there was only one car being worked on and 3 technicians sitting outside smoking... I was ignored.

Associate at the door asked to check receipt at which point I declined because I witnessed her not check the women and child exiting before me. She made a snide remark “Don’t worry, we’ll check the cameras.” I felt that was implying that I had stolen from the store.

Walmart is almost the same everywhere. Good service, mostly, always have a j*** here or there. Never been proud of their meat department. Somehow, Sam's club is way better.

Store was clean in general. Saw several clusters of younger staff grouped together, talking and laughing, and not doing much work. No staff asked if I needed help finding anything (until I was checking myself out and an older man asked if I found everything ok... i asked why? Was Walmart hiding stuff now and making shopping like hunting for Easter eggs?). The staff I that I saw working was an older man outside collecting the shopping carts and a few older women stocking and straightening some shelves and the lady at the front, running between self checkout registers to assist folks trying to scan their stuff and pay. I think considering none of us shoppers have been trained to be cashiers or baggers, we make pretty darn good employees. I just want to know why we don't get the employee discount on our purchases? LOL Seems like the money they save on not paying for folks to run the registers could be passed on to those of us 'working' as we do our shopping.

So I have a serious question why does it say Auto care closes at 7 me and my bf been there 3 times 3 -2 hours before 7 and they want to say they can’t help like what? Don’t y’all close at 7 if that’s the case y’all should definitely update y’all’s hours because there’s people like us that come 30-40 minutes away just to get there car check just for y’all not to check it.

I came in to buy printer ink. No one at electronics desk. Stopped an employee no help. Called the maim number. They paged someone to come. Waited minutes called again, waited. Ink is locked up. Going to Best Buy.

ZERO...when it comes to customer service ! My son had a recall on carseat and the exchange/return process of the safety seat purchased at this store was Not Honored Not to mention they had no selection to replace the seat that I could purchase that was not opened and the respons from Kim and Gary the team lead was oh you know how it is people open things ....seriously Gary you do not need to work customer service and Kim was so concerned with doing her job she was talking down about a co worker to another co worker while I waited only to be told oh well sorry.... shaking my head

Their inventory on their website is grossly inaccurate so do not trust that they have in stock what it says they have in stock. You will only waste your time. And then on top of that the employees will treat you like an idiot for thinking that something is in stock since it says it is in stock online. What is the point of having that system if it is never accurate??

I was leaving the store and the door greeter waved at me so I waved at her and went about my way. What do I get next ?? Aggressive tapping on my shoulder. I turn around to see who it is it’s her she is trying to talk to me in sign language . I reported the incident to a manager I believe his name was Calvin and his response was a shoulder shrug a smug facial expression and to tell me she is deaf that’s just how she communicates. I myself work for an employer who actively hires individuals with disabilities impairments etc and they always find a suitable position for them. When I told the manager that it’s not safe to have her there harassing people and banging on their backs as they walk out to find her a more suitable position he again just looked at me with a blank stare. They need to find more employees like the tall guy working in electronics and mr Gary the door greeter.

I'd give this store zero stars if I could! This is not a family friendly place! Do not buy gift cards here they scam you out of your money!! Garry and Shannon at the service desk both called me and my husband liars when I tried to get my gift card activated and was told someone spent the money. Well it wasn't me as I was there to get my card activated like the customer service told me wasn't done. Instead of helping figure out what happened and why I was sold a card with no money on it, I get called a liar and told call the police for a report. Yeah until those two don't work there anymore my family will not return to Walmart after I get my report done about the missing money!I work customer service as well and I'd never talk to a customer like this, my job is to make them want to come back and show I'm at least trying to help make a bad situation better not insult them and be ugly.
