“So after spending $1100 at a dishonest repair shop in Tampa, my daughters 2012 Jeep Patriot had the same issues, revving ok in park and neutral but almost dying when put into gear. Was told it needed transmission service for $300 and a new throttle body for $800. Having some faith, I okayed the repairs, made payment over the phone via my credit card and hoped for the best.My daughter picked up the car and it was the same. I then drove to Tampa, rented a uhaul and brought the car to Kelly and Bob at Coastal Automotive. They are fair, honest and have never to my knowledge mislead anyone! If they don't know the issue, they admit that and ask how you's like to move forward.They diagnosed my daughters car as having several faulty electronic transmission sensors. And although they don't make these kinds of repairs there, Kelly took the time to look up transmission repair shops and found an AAmco transmission repair shop in Vencie, gave me the contact info, advised me on what to tell them after diagnosing the issue, and best of all, charged me a very fair price for all their time and effort.Sad to say they are dying breed in the automotive repair world when everyone seems to be a parts changer rather than a diagnostic tech.I highly highly recommend you go see Kelly and Bob if you have any, and I mean any kind of automotive issue! He showed me a leaking seal and told me what to watch out for, so that I would know when it becomes a priority to fix. Just make sure you go see him soon. Based on the discussion between my husband and the shop, Anthony’s was very proactive in getting the parts ordered before the wrecker even delivered the truck. So when the vehicle arrived via wrecker, Anthony’s immediately address the problem, communicated what was identified and the costs and we had our vehicle back within 24 hours. We were able to continue with our vacation without any delays. We are very appreciative of the customer service and proactiveness given to our issue. As with any work being done, you never know if the cost will be exorbitant or not because you can’t really shop around, but they were extremely fair in their pricing!”

We had been camping at Oyster Lake and it blew on the way back to our home in Dickinson. “Can't really say a whole lot about this place as I did not bring one of my vehicles here to be worked on. My step daughter had some brake work done and they seem to have knocked it out pretty quickly and professionally. Had a nice conversation with the owner and he seems to be a pretty cool cat. Good mannered and easy to get along with.”

I hadn’t had to use a professional tow service in a long, long time and didn’t really think I could afford it now days, but, upon calling Davis Automotive & Towing the cost was actually much less than I had expected. I didn’t have to wait long and when the driver, Paul O’Brien, showed up he was friendly and knowledgeable. Huge truck, clean inside and out, well equipt. I was having it towed out to the VoTech here in Salina which I’m not really all that familiar with, but, he was… he knew right where to put it. I didn’t have to do anything but give him the keys. I was really happy with the service.”

“I purchased a used Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck from an online Auction site and the truck was located in Freeport Texas.Well, the tires on the truck had plenty tread life remaining on the 4 tires but I did notice some signs of dry-rot cracking in the rubber. These are LT 10 ply sidewall tires. Long story short, one of the tire’s tread separated and flew off the tire at 70 mph. And then the spare tire wouldn’t fit. It was a different 8-lug pattern. Luckily , the tire still held its air but the steel belt was all that was left.I limped 20 miles at 15mph until I got to Bay City. Walmart didn’t have any LT truck tires. I would have had to wait a day. I needed to get back on the road.Lopez Tires had 4 new TOYO LT 10 ply tires. I only purchase 2 of them but I was back on the road in 30 minutes.Awesome service.”
