coming from houston, i’ve been to a couple terrible 24 hour fitness locations but all of the sports have been nice. not only is the baytown location (my bf lives here) the WORST “sport” i’ve been to, it’s just the worst in general. they should honestly remove sport off of their sign. it’s super dark inside which gives you no motivation to workout and there’s only one squat rack. what ?? how is anyone supposed to get a leg day in when there’s only one for the training area & one for everyone else. the interior is so outdated, i’m surprised anyone is training there.also, how is there a power outage when the lights are on.

I like the quietness of the pool and lock room is cleaner compared to San Jacinto location. The brightness of gym was dimmed, not sure why..possibility to lower inside heat. Not crowded during my experience.

Been going here fore a few years, really like that they have a pool. Good equipment and cleanliness is satisfactory.

It’s an ok gym I only really like it because it has the pool and sauna and steam room other than that they need to really live up to the 24 hour name brand and not say to go to another 24 I go to this one because it’s nearby so they either switch back to 24 or remove that from the gym

EDIT: it's under new management. This place desperately needed it!!! They have new employees and alot of new equipment that actually works and is fixed in a timely manner if broken. Everything is much cleaner too. You can tell the new staff has more passion about this place. Will highly recommend this place again!! I will leave my previous review up as well so anyone can see exactly where this place used to be and how great it is now!!Equipment always broken... Gets used alot so I understand ... But takes them months sometimes to fix one piece of equipment ... Bathrooms are a joke... You want to catch a disease?... Walk in the 24 hour fitness restroom and I can almost guarantee it... This place used to be decent... Not sure what's happening with it...

Not the cheapest gym in town, but I absolutely think it is worth every penny. The staff here are very friendly/helpful. The gym is always clean and I have never felt like the place was crowded. They also offer lots of optional classes and I thought that was pretty cool. The only complaint I have is that the gym is NOT 24 hours they close at 9.. That being said, if your looking to join a gym I would definitely recomend 24 hour Fitness!

Let's do this in a "Pros & Cons" format Pros: The extra amenities are useful (Sauna/Basketball Court) This is about it for me personally Cons: FIRST- Having the name "24 Hour fitness" and not actually being open 24 hours is disappointing The Lighting: it's pretty Dim for a gym in my opinion The dumbbell/bench weights are pretty rusty (And not in a good way) - Honestly all of the equipment looks/feels slightly outdated and unkept The Dressing room, pool, and sauna feels like it hasn't been disinfected and properly cleaned in a while. No full body mirrors in the bathroom because, who cares about legs right? Also, there are hand dryers 7 ft up on the bathroom wall. Not sure why exactly

The gym itself is great aside from the hours they’re open. However, Mary is EXTREMELY disrespectful. The way she speaks to people is ugly and unnecessary. I’d recommend the gym if it had better management.

Only come here for volleyball. So glad they brought it back. But are paying so much for a place that's not even open 24 hours...

Good luck if you are trying to cancel your membership! My husband has tried to cancel his membership due to having to move for work and of course there is no manager on duty. After a yearly annual fee and another monthly fee this week they will cancel it, just wanted the extra fees!! There were no problems signing him up of course!!! He had no problems with this gym except limited hours are difficult for someone who works late or long hours.

The only reason I got a membership here is because it's the only Gym in baytown with a pool, sauna, and steam room. This place is disgusting and by far the worst Gym I've ever been a member in. Few people clean the machines after use, employees don't seem to care. Locker room showers are filled with mold. The most shocking thing is not even the shower curtains get changed, I know this because they are filled with mold. Machines are also poorly maintained, definitely not worth the $40 membership.

Great work out place and Staff! Members do staff Social Fitnessing, and clean their stations after use. Not over crowded and great air conditioning to make for a good work out.
