“I haven't gotten my car back yet, it's still there being repaired after a minor crash. I just have to leave comment on my experience so far. I went to a place recommended by my insurance company, and had to back away and leave because it was scary and gross and the only person there was working out back with earphones in and couldn't hear me. I told my husband I refused to do business with a place I felt unwelcome. He called around and gave me a short list to go to, and I decided to see this "Bates" place. Wow. It was like amazing. Friendly, smiling, helpful people met me at the door, offered me refreshments, asked some simple information without in any way being pushy, and had me out the door in 30 minutes, my car safely in their care. Then the phone calls letting me know each step of the way what was going on and wat to expect next has been great. I can't wait to see how well they do on the car, but so far they have earned their stars!!
UPDATE: I got my car back, and I am very happy with the work they did. My car looks amazing and when I picked it up they bent over backwards to make sure my needs were met. The whole process was seamless, they kept me informed every step, and had it ready when promised. While waiting to pick up my car, I also got to watch how the ladies at the front desk were helpful and concerned for the callers on the phone, that was nice, they would put people on hold and then really work to get the information to them and help them. The people in the back never stopped moving around, filled papers, answered calls, etc. It was nice to know they cared about the job they do, and it shows. I will use them next time, which of course I hope is never because wrecks aren't fun, but having someone you trust to fix it makes it a little better.”
