It’s Rodeo Time and I wanted to buy a new western shirt. I bought two because I was unsure of what would go with my outfit. Unfortunately, I wanted to return 1 of the 2 shirts that was unwashed and unworn.
Upon returning, they wanted to retrieve information and sign me up for a rewards account which I did not want to partake in and I opted out of participating as is my right.
I was told that in order to return items, they insisted that I have a rewards account. This was not stipulated on the receipt or on any signage as a condition of return.
Fortunately, upon insisting on a manager and being a Karen, stating that return policies must be clearly posted at the point of sale (no where does it signify that you need a rewards account to return merchandise on the receipt or at the register), I was able to return my item.
I loved Boot Barn but I will continue to shop at Cavenders, Gomez, online or more so local and family owned shops moving forward.

I love coming to this location..even if we drive 40 min . It has so much variety and a lot more options for Ariat pants which is basically all my son wears .

Can’t shop in peace without the employees having their eyes constantly on you..yes I understand helping the customer is valid but when I’m across the store and I have two different people looking at me makes it uneasy….profiling?

I just had the worst experience with a boot barn I’ve ever had. I’ve spent a lot of money at boot barn at the Liberty Texas location and usually have amazing customer service. The Baytown boot barn, there is a woman there named Tanya who claims to be the manager and is the most unprofessional manager I’ve ever seen. She speaks to customers in a very disrespectful way and she reprimanded an employee in front of me. When she started to reprimand the young man Jorge in front of me that’s when i got a little more involved because you should NEVER DO THAT!! I am extremely disappointed in the experience I had at this location and I think something seriously needs to be done because this is absolutely a training opportunity. I do not believe everyone is meant to be in a leadership role and I believe that Tanya is the perfect example of someone that shouldn’t EVER be in a leadership position.

Although the workers are amazing, having no AC is a little overwhelming. I can't imagine how hot it gets for the workers, hope they fix it soon.

Got my husband some really nice boots. Love the new decor and floor design. The representative Eduardo was so helpful and got what we needed.

I’m leaving two stars because the employees didn’t seem to want to help with changing rooms or to help us with what we needed and when checking out the same employees were giving us ugly and judgmental stares and it felt like they thought we were stealing or something. Won’t be shopping there again if those employees are there. It was a lady with curly hair in a pony tail giving me dirty looks.
