Aaron the owner actually doesn’t understand anything about foreign cars. I brought my car in with electrical problems and he swore to me the computer was bad and I needed a new one. After more research I learned this is a common problem on c300’s where the fuse box gets water inside and start making everything malfunction. I shared my discovery with Aaron but he was too ignorant to listen to me and refused to change the fuse box and insisted it was the computer. I decided to buy and swap the fuse box anyway which Aaron rejected to work on my car further at that point. He charged me over $100 for diagnostics that was false and incorrect. I later changed out the fuse box and all my problems were fixed. Aaron was trying to make me buy a 2-3k new computer for my car while it just needed a 200$ fuse box. I wouldn’t let this man near my cars again. Highly NOT recommended.

SAVE YOUR TIME AND GO ELSE WHERE.10 DAY DEMAND LETTERAugust 4th, 2020D-R Performance, LLC3215 N. Main St.Baytown, TX 77521Dear Mr. Aaron (Presumed Owner),On June 1st, 2020, I had my car a 2006 Audi A4 VIN# WAUDF78E86A217756 towed to your garage for servicing. The car had stalled on me on the feeder of I-10 and Normandy. It took you about a week to tell me that the car needed a full tune-up and that was the reason for the issue. I paid you $1,028.81 (see figure – 1) for the repair on June 8th, 2020. A few days later, June 10th, 2020 I got a call from you that the vehicle was ready. Shortly after driving the car off 3215 N. Main St. the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT and an OIL PRESSURE light turned on in the car. As I was trying to make it back to the shop which you asked me to do via text, the car stalled once again off I-10 and Thompson Rd. I called you and you had an employee meet me to try to diagnose the vehicle. After a few minutes you told me over the phone that you were going to get the car towed free of charge back to your shop for diagnosing. This was on June 10th, 2020 at 4:47PM.On June 20th, 2020 I asked you for an update and did not receive one. It took me a few trips out to the shop and a few phone calls to get any information on the car. On July 8th, 2020 you finally had an answer for me about what parts I needed to order because your network of parts was not able to get a hold off those missing parts. So, I ordered them from ECSTUNNING.COM. I took you the parts on July 21st, 2020 which was 2 weeks ago, and I have yet to get a phone call or text from you letting me know when the vehicle would be ready. When I was there on July 8th, 2020 you told me that you would cover the cost of the repair because of the long wait I was experiencing with your shop. When you had the mechanic bring me the parts to the office to show me what parts where needed, your mechanic told me that he would need one full day once he received the parts to be able to reassemble the vehicle because it was already disassembled.It is now August 4th, 2020 and I still have not received an update from you on when the vehicle will be ready other than “We will let u know”. It is now 64 days since I originally took the vehicle to your shop. I have tried calling you and texting you and I am not able to get a hold of you and your voicemail is not set up.I would like to pick up my car and car parts provided to you by me from ECSTUNNING.COM on or before August 14th, 2020. I would like to get a refund of $464 for the manual labor from the original payment on June 8th, 2020 (see figure – 1) as those repairs were not the cause of the car stalling in the first place. I would like to get refund of $100 for the cost of the original towing to your mechanic shop on June 1st, 2020. If I do not receive my car, car parts and refund payment by that date, I will promptly file this case in small claims court. And assuming I win and obtain a money judgment, which will be part of the public record available to credit agencies, I will promptly follow all legal avenues to collect it. I paid 738 for DR Performance Aaron to repair my 2011 Jaguar XF, he guaranteed that the filler gas cap, check engine light would be repaired. I drove the car for 2 days and sent Aaron a photo of the same check engine light filler gas cap. No response. Aaron was contacted and told me the shop was closed due to a Covid staff. Later, when I contacted him on a date, he became upset stating I am not a priority. Aaron said to bring the car on Monday and was not present, the maintenance staff were not aware. Aaron never responded or contacted me for follow up on my car, I called several times no answer. I actually had to go to the shop and wait on him. My car stayed for 7 days and Aaron stated I will pay you in full, we could not repair it. When I arrived he gave me 438, stating the part and labor was Already done and he could not pay for that, providing a cashiers check. The receipt said 738 but I only received 438. Aaron is a kind scammer, stay away from DR Performance in Baytown TX. Aarons mechanics left my back seat unattached, the parts disassembled in my back seat. I had to bring the car back for them to put it back together. Unacceptable Service

***DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE*** I will try to keep this as short as possible. My sister and I brought my 05 vette and her BMW here for some minor work to get done and these guys, Aaron specifically the shop owner, guaranteed us that they could do the job correctly and that the mechanics there thoroughly check each car that comes in the shop. Long story short my vette was in his shop for over 2 months and he came up with excuse after excuse on why it wasn't finished in a timely manner and he also would find something else "wrong" with the car almost every week that the car was in the shop. For example, my shocks were functioning properly before I took it in the shop, however Aaron said they were bad so we trusted him and it turns out they were not able to fix them and they actually ended up draining liquid from the damper which caused them to fail completely and the service shocks light came on the dashboard. Also, my gear shifter was working fine as well before I took it to them. All I needed done was a LED light so I can see the park, drive, neutral, etc. when it's nighttime because my light was not working. So, they put an LED light and my gear shifter stopped working correctly after that was done. It turned soft when you move the gear stick it would not catch the gears correctly anymore after that. When I first got my car back I noticed these problems and I asked Aaron if he test drove my car when they were done and he said no they didn't have time. They didn't take accountability for the things they messed up, instead they wanted to charge more for the new problems the car had. Now, for my sisters BMW they had the car over 4 months in the shop, same exact thing happened with mine excuse after excuse and new problems with the car they supposedly kept finding. My sister finally got her car back and now she must press the start button over three times for the car to even start. This is not how work is supposed to be done on cars and for paying customers. We spent thousands of dollars for our cars and for the work to be done right and it ended up being a costly and disappointing turn out. If you've read this review sorry it was lengthy, but I don't want you to make the same mistakes we did. So, the last thing I will say is ***DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE***

I must say that I am very much impressed with these young guys. First for building such a great team of professional young individuals that knows how to treat their customers. I always said that good service is hard to find. Well I was wrong because I found it here at D-R performance LLC! Keep up the good work fellas and Thanks again for your service!

Wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone who drives any type of foreign vehicle. He claims he has dealership programs and diagnostic equipment but only tells you what he sees on the dashboard no paperwork provided. Wouldn’t use aftermarket parts told me get genuine Mercedes parts if I wanted it done right. Went out got those he put them on told me my car was ready next day my sensor came back on. He couldn’t answer told me take it to Mercedes after I gave him over $700 dollars basically to put on break pads and a car wash. Smh I was finessed save time just go to dealership if you WANT IT DONE RIGHT.

The owner and team are extremely nice here - but i brought my car here to get detailed and paid a more than generous amount of money for what I thought was going to be a bang-up job. I asked them to specifically focus on the interior of the car, because the weather was terrible and any exterior work would be frivolous. They did a great job cleaning the engine and the trunk, but almost totally neglected the interior and focused on cleaning and waxing the exterior. Even then, my brother had to tell them to come back and rebuff places. We both had to point out spots all over that they missed - and because it was dark when I finally got to pick the vehicle up, when the sun came up the next day, I was sick over how much I paid to have this job done and how much was lacking. I had to purchase cleaning supplies and clean the interior myself. They neglected to clean the holders in the doors completely, and the door jams and glove compartment hadn't been touched either. When I turned the heater or a/c on the next weeks, the smell that came out of them was like dirty mop water. Almost a total fail on this business's part. I won't go back and I would discourage anyone from going here to have your vehicle detailed. Again - nice men here - the owner is really nice - but, nah - never again.

Have used Aaron, the owner, since he used to do mobile mechanic. Have not gone to anyone else since. Always does his work fast and has me back on the road in no time. Super affordable would recommend to anyone who needs automotive work done ✅

Hands down the best auto shop in Baytown, I’ve never had a bad experience here. All of the staff are super professional and very nice. My car was fixed in a timely matter and at an affordable price, can not find anyone else in the auto industry that have these prices. Good and honest work!
