Alright this place is pretty great. Baytown cafe is yet another delicious hole in the wall over here east of Houston. Really good classic dishes. I usually go for the street tacos (called taquitos plate on the menu) simple yet so good. The classic meat, onions, and cilantro. Plus a side of charro beans! Really good and my go to. They do give you complimentary chips and salsa but beware, the salsa is spicyyyyy. Hot hot hot. Honestly everything here has been solid. I will also call out the breakfast tacos. This place opens so early and their breakfast tacos are amazing. So cheap too you can't help but get multiple. I like the egg and bacon one!!

The tacos were delicious, cheap, and tasted fresh but a little disappointed that they gave me a black avocado. Besides that, the food was awesome and they're the best breakfast tacos I've had in Baytown.

As others have said it's a hole in the wall, it's not much on the outside. We absolutely loved this place, the portions and the price! We got breakfast and were not disappointed. I actively search out these small out of the way places. The people in the area know about it cause they had a steady stream of customers. Will definitely go back.

Went there for the first time today. It really is a hole in the wall and could sure use some updating, but the food was pretty good and the portions were large.

Food is not so good. I ordered the stuffed burrito. . Which was not stuffed... but everything to "stuffed" in the burrito was outside of the burrito. They should call it the Unstuffed burrito. It was smothered with this nasty cheap nacho cheese sauce. I did not enjoyed my meal to say the least. To make matters worse the place is unkempt the market side looks abandoned. The atmosphere is depressing.

Huevos rancheros were great overall good. So good we returned for lunch. That's where we made the mistake of trying the seafood. Which was pretty good but they didn't have cocktail sauce or tartar sauce to accommodate seafood. I should have stuck to the Mexican food options on the menu. My son had the enchilada platter and it was great.

Good food.. Wait times can be long and the language barrier can also be difficult at times. Overall a good place to eat.
